So I was thinking that there'd be a thing where if you hovered over a username in the chat, it'll tell you how many hours the user has ever played on the server(I'm aware that it may be a bit unfair for those who played daily in the past, given it might not include it, but it's for the future). Like when you log off it stops timing how long you've been online, then when you log back on it tells you again. There'd be an AFK kick of 5-10 minutes as well to prevent AFK farming for hours.

How will this keep more players? Well you could reward people for the time they spend online. Depending on how long you've been playing will determine rewards.
    • Every 2 hours you gain 1 grass block
    • Every 6 hours you gain 2 grass blocks
    • Every 20 hours you gain 4 grass blocks
    • Every 50 hours you gain 8 grass blocks
    • Every 100 hours you gain 16 grass blocks
We could also have a suffix by our username and have a leveling system
    • [+] - 2 Hours Played for this (1/12 a day worth of hours)
    • [+] - 6 Hours Played for this (1/4 a day worth of hours)
    • [+] - 24 Hours Played for this (1 day worth of hours)
    • [+] - 60 Hours Played for this (2 1/2 days worth of hours)
    • [+] - 168 Hours played for this (7 days worth of hours)
    • [+] - 300 Hours Played for this (12 1/2 days worth of hours)
These are exact in hours for a reason. I highly doubt someone is going to play 12 1/2 hours straight just so they get the red suffix.

If this got implemented, we could have these be involved with a new moderator requirement. For example you must have the orange suffix(6 hour) or higher to apply.

What do you think about this? It could encourage people to stay.

    Seeeee okay.
The problem with this is how much people AFK.
So really, it would only work in theory if we implemented an AFK kick after 15 or 20 minutes or so.
But then you implement the AFK kick, and people build afk pools and stuff that completely ruins the point of having the kick there to begin with.
So no, no support. Simply because it's too easy to farm and be rewarded for literally nothing.

That's why the rewards aren't that high, but I get where you're coming from with all this.

I know that they're not high, but it all stacks up. :/ it's a great idea in theory, but I just don't think it would pan out well.

I get where you're coming from, thanks for sharing. I just thought it'd be a kinda good way to keep new players.

My only worry is afk farmers. They'd get kicked for farming and stuff.

Ah, I think it's allowed but I'm not sure. Besides it'd be more fair for others who don't afk farm?

I support the AFK kick to prevent the AFK farming. This would help lag issues. This is an excellent idea.

I suppose that the reward system is fair. But I am neutral on this point. For the server, this is a great idea, but for the person in question, it isn't. This incentivizes players to spend hours upon hours playing a video game and wasting their life away. I can see it helping grow the playerbase and what not, but it would be incredibly unhealthy for players. But I am neutral because as much as it incentivizes players to waste time, it is something that the player themselves can control.
Again, neutral about the incentive system. Same reasoning as above.

donor10 isn't that big of an upgrade, but I do not support the free upgrade. If people know that if there is no upgrade every 150 hours, they are more likely to purposefully not buy a rank in order to get a free rank.

Regarding the pet: No support on that. I understand your idea of incentivizing, but we don't need this much free stuff. I also don't support a new mod requirement.

It would encourage people to stay, I agree with that.

Finally, incentives are great and all. But I think you are going way overboard with the incentives. There are too many incentives that you listed. IN my POV, incentives are great. But some people only get affected by incentives for so long before it gets old. Suddenly the excitement you feel is gone. Next thing you know they want more incentives to stay. I say don't give all these incentives. Maybe just one of your incentive ideas. This concludes my opinion.

No, it's only at 150, not every 150.
Thank you, I get where you're coming from with all this.

It's a cool idea, but really, there are a lot of people who have a lot of alts, and if 20 alts are farming for 100 hours, and the one player then takes all the diamonds from their alts, they would have 60 diamonds, and the economy would be weakened.
For the reasons given, no support.

I don't think it's possible to have 60 alts on at the same time?

In my house we have 5 computers, so it could be possible that way. I once got 18 alts on a bedwars server

she said 20 alts. and it is possible. I myself have 3 accounts. Each person can have up to 3 accounts on the server simultaneously. As she said, it is possible for 20 alts to be on. I would know.

    ...
But it's for 100 hours, the average user is only online for 3-4 hours a day(yes I know some spend more but 3-4 hours is the average).
If people feel the need to have 20+ alts on the server, they really need therapy so they stop buying accounts they'll hardly use on a block game. 1-2 alts are fine, but 20 is just... lame?

I like the little [+] things. They wouldn't affect the economy or people who have alts, just a nice way to prove a user has been online a lot. Not so sure about donorship/prizes for spending time on the server, everyone would just be afk, as others have already said.
I do want some way of rewarding non-donors for staying on the server but I can't think of a way to do this that wouldn't be exploited by alternate accounts.
