Guys i have a question. Will Chiseled Stone, and all the source blocks be worth nothing in 1.8? I heard that the source blocks are becoming Water Bucket, Lava Buckets and flint and steel so will their value be worthless? And about the chiseled stone we can craft them at MC ver 1.8. So what will happen to the value if these Rares?
Most likely, those rares will just be worthless and players who care will run into a frenzy. Since they will turn into illegal to trade items you cannot trade them, their value will not stick. We wont have to worry about the full update to 1.8 just yet so trade these rares as normal. If chiseled stone is craft-able than yes their value will not be high.
Shouldn't be hurt too much. I happen to have other rares xD Although we mourn the loss of Slifkin's majestic fireblock. </3
I REALLY hope this gets fixed because it was so hard for me to get a hold of a fire block and now it's worth nothing
Fireblocks are still worth something. People are probably holding on to them because they paid so much and people are trying to ask for low prices. Or we who have source blocks are hoping there would be an exchange when 1.8 comes for some rare items then sell those for a high price.
Yes, I would recommend holding on to things until the price stabilizes. Your decision though, a true conclusion is yet to appear. Locking and archiving.
