    I was banned but I was away for about a month how could I do something if i was away could someone figure out why I was banned?

    If you do the above and make an appeal, a mod will tell you. Now the problem is not what you did, but what someone else may have done on your account. In situations like this I suggest you change ur password. Getting hacked seems like the only way you can be banned if you were away, or if you were banned for a crime you may have committed a while ago that has just been reported.
