the best reason for that is because when hopper delay is added, nearly all the Redstone machine can't work properly. please consider getting rid of the hopper delay. Thanks!

I guess the delay helps prevent things like duplication and might be helping keep tps lag down.
The issue becomes machines which produce a lot of ground entities not being able to be sent to chests fast enough causing built up.

Its hard to balance it I assume.

Support. I know that this helps reduce lag, so if it is not possible to reset the hoppers back to normal, I would at least like the hoppers to move only one item at a time. Right now, the hoppers move two items every 32 ticks which messed up a lot of my redstone machines because they relied on only one item being transferred at a time. Personally, I would much rather have a slightly longer delay if some kind of delay has to stay, but have them move one item at a time instead of two.

Support or maybe just make it uhh move more blocks? It really has affected my stone generator, when I produce tons of stone, most of them stay on the hoppers getting sucked by the hoppers very slowly thus clag coming and boom stone wasted.

Support, I know so many people who have been affected by this and I assume there could be better ways to clear up some lag

Support 100%. Thanks to this delay now (which I suppose is supposed to be for a good cause), many redstone machines that I once used no longer work. In fact, I had to almost reconstruct half of my island just due to a delay of one block. I, and many other members of the sky block community would love to see this feature changed to no delay, or at least a much shorter delay on hoppers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make a suggestion!

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept this request. The current hopper settings are as requested by the server owner, and are intended to minimize the impact of hoppers on server performance and the in-game economy and discourage AFK grinding in favor of more active gameplay.

This thread has been moved to the Suggestions Archive. If you are dissatisfied with this action, please report this post, and a moderator or administrator will reconsider it. You may also feel free to submit another suggestion in the future.

    Kind regards.
