For those of you who don't know, on skyblock.org, when you join the server, you start off in local chat. Because often those newcomers don't see the broadcasts or don't realize they have to /ch 2, they often quit without talking to a single person. I feel like having everyone start off on global chat would be a much better option, and i cant think of any negatives to starting off in global. I'm quite sure this contributes to many people quitting org, as often, when i /msg a newcomer and explain everthing, they often stay.
Support~ If I'm thinking correctly, they won't be to ask anything. New players, need to be able to ask questions, therefore be in global chat xD
Cyp was going to do this but it somehow never worked or he didnt, so it will happen soon. The questions is when... but support.
