[ORG] Looking for island neighbours! :D

As many of you know, for my birthday gift Whippy has bought me an alt account so that I can create a second skyblock to co op with friends (such loser I am ) I'm not looking for co ops right now, but what I am looking for is anyone I know who either has an alt without an island, or is thinking of restarting their island soon, who would like to claim a new island neighbouring my new one.

I made a new island on my new alt account, but it's nowhere near anyone I know it also makes me sad that my main island has no active neighbours... So I thought, if we orchestrate it so that I get a friend or two to create a new island at the same time as me, we hopefully would be island neighbours, and that would be more fun ^^ I'd quite like to have a bridge over from a neighbours island onto mine if you wanted to do that. I'm going to have an island with lots of co ops though, that's the main purpose of me creating a second island.

EDIT: I'd prefer people who also want several co ops, also people who are not planning on building a large redstone/piston-based auto farm as they cause too much lag.

I just want neighbours for my co op island because I don't like being surrounded by just starter islands I don't plan to make an autofarm lol. Tbh I'd prefer not to have neighbours with large autofarms as they cause quite a lot of lag... happy to connect islands with a bridge of some sort so that people can walk across as my co ops would be mostly greenbeans without fly, me included lol.

I guess cactus farm is fine as it does not cause a lot of lag. It's nice to have neighbours who will load your auto farm sometimes when you're not there. I might make one on shared island actually, far into the future (massive funds required for sand!) but yeah I'd prefer to avoid neighbours who want tons of pistons firing often because I think many of us would end up with unbearable lag.

 

Yeah but just saying cactus farms are kinda useless because they have to generate 100 stacks PER SAND and sell them for full price just to break even

 

Yeah I know they aren't very profitable. If I made one on my island it would be for my co ops to use; I'd never expect to profit from it haha. Having said that, one piston and two grass per pumpkin in a pumpkin farm is worth about 1.5k and that's before adding all the redstone and other stuff, so it's only 500$ cheaper than setting up a cactus farm anyway, though I know pumpkins sell for more at the shop. I'd rather make money slowly with less lag personally. But anyway yeah, if you want to make a pumpkin autofarm that's redstone powered, I think best to avoid being neighbours with me as I don't want tons of lag x

 

Yeah I wasn't gonna make a autofram next to you if I did get neighbour but what in saying about cactus farm is that you never make your money back unless it's running 247 like nuss's one because his farm is next to spawn
