It has come to my attention that players are now mad at me, and some have quit due to the bonemeal prices. So, I was thinking, it would be nice to create a nice island, and it would be nice to have shiny diamond armor, etc. If this is the case, then bones could be brought up to $20 again, and it would be fine. Also, I would think pump farms should be added (hoppers) so we can get money, cause yknow, were supposed to be having fun right? This will lead to prices being lower, but it's fine. Everyone loves great islands. This thread is to basically comment your thoughts on the economy, what do you think about it?
There are other ways to make money, not just bones. With the reduced price for bones, people will actually have to spend time making money in new, creative ways whether it be a netherwart farm, pumpkin farms, farming creepers, or just relying on chestshops. I think that reducing bone prices opens up other opportunities to make money and have fun doing it. Its not just "sit in front of a grinder that's not even yours and kill the things that fall down" its more of "I'm going to make money off of this and save up for this to make more money and then do this, this, and this". And to comment on your point on hoppers - theres no need for them. If people want to make pumpkin farms, sure, that's great. But automating them would just.. That just doesn't sit right with me. I like the idea of having multiple ways of getting money with limited automation. It makes org more difficult and fun - for me at least. But that's just my opinion
You can't please everyone. The rage will die down and people will find something else to exploit. Who cares?
I don't mind the new bone meal prices, people would just sell thousands of dollars of bone meal in minutes. Now they have to work a little harder for what they have. If people complain they are just mad 'cause they can't do things the "easier" way. I have a nether wart farm and I harvest it using water. But one thing that might be helpful is the hoppers to collect the items. So Support for that.
I never really used skeletons. I really only used Netherwarts. But in my eyes, all you're really asking for is hoppers back?
Bone grinding did make it a lot easier and I am a little bit mad, but I guess it is better for the economy. I definitely think hoppers should be added.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Hoppers should NOT be added again. You think economy is bad now? Before reset, people could make 1m a day without effort using hoppers and auto farms.
Bonemeal nerf should have happened long ago. I am glad it did. If players are going to be petty and leave because they cannot make fast money, then that is the fault of themselves. Because a mature person understands there are more than one way to make money and a little hard work will not hurt. Listen to this carefully Survy. It is not even your fault. You know who is to blame? Everyone who started building op grinders that made the server lag for everyone else. The people who were greedy and only wanted to make millions and fast. Those who put their own goals over the rest of the server. Those people CAUSED others to complain about it. Any hate you get should be tossed aside like trash because that is what it is. So do not give in and change your mind. You know the server is fine without bonemeal. If people loved the server enough it wouldn't matter if bonemeal prices were lowered. If people loved the server they will find another way to make cash. Hoppers should not return in my opinion. It will just make the situation worse because of auto farms. Look at old org and how it was mainly pumpkin farms and people afk in them to make money. Same thing will eventually happen if hoppers return. No one should be afraid of a little hard work.
I let my friend make a skelly grinder because I just wanted to help the people to get money by selling things. Sometimes I do grind because i need money to build more things on my island. I agree with the hopper, because people can make op pumpkin farm grinder for example (like remo's) and it produces for example 10 stacks per 1 minute. I figured out that I should sell things to get money.
