I would have added these thoughts under the other thread but it was locked :/ It's great that the broadcasts suggestion was taken on board and I agree it could be useful to many new players. But I have one or two suggestions for tweaking it..? 1. Please could they be made less frequent? As .Org is typically a quieter server than .Net, having a broadcast every 30 seconds or so seems excessive. In the chat during a normal day for me, every 4th or 5th message is a broadcast when people are chatting normally, and when it's really quiet, I can't help feeling it's spamming me... Either one per 2 minutes (or maybe even 5 minutes...) would perhaps work better, or instead the option to turn it off if you want to like with /auction stfu ? 2. If possible, please could you change the colour scheme of the broadcasts? (Or CLag?) They're the same colour and it's causing me problems... I'm having a small heart attack each time the broadcast comes on while I'm breaking anything valuable, thinking that Clag is going to eat my precious entities, and then when CLag actually does come I'm not always noticing, because I'm so used to ignoring the broadcast that comes up every few messages "crying wolf". It's just a bit stressful haha. Thank you and keep up the good work ^^ and thanks for your time in reading my suggestions! x
No support, I'm sorry but Its really helpful and has solved some issues with that was happening with Local and Global..
Grace...she isn't saying to remove it, just to make it less frequent and change the colors Anyway support
Sorry for locking my thread xD but i find it good as making another thread about it would gets cyp's attention as he usually doesnt look at suggestion threads twice once they have been added. I agree with you like the conversation we had in game.
Support, I do think a tad less frequent would be ideal for org due to it being smaller. Im sure anyone who uses org when there are say 10 people or less would see the chat fill up with broadcasts. The colour scheme would people paranoid I could see that. Its not an important thing, but it would probably give loyal players peace of mind.
Also, I have noticed that some of the broadcast messages are incorrect. For example, the 'Do /rewards to see the rewards of voting'. Skyblock.org doesn't have /rewards
Ive already informed cyp about that and we are aware of another broadcast saying donors get pets and dont. #Ihavenolyf
