Closed no idea what to do

so i cooped invited someone but the problem is they are ruining my island and i dont want it to look like that but i dont want to offend her and i have no idea what to say to her and i dont want to be like 'sorry but can you get rid of this i dont like it' because she spent so much building it and i aint a mean person and
ik this post is patheic but im not reporting anyone and im not tryin to be rude or anything i just need advice on what to do and i still havent finished my island yet and shes building in areas without asking me, ik you're properly like 'oh well its your fault for cooping her' or 'just coop kick her' well tbh i didnt think she would do this and i cant just /coop kick because she has her stuff on my island and she would think im stealingj but how do i tell her i want her to get her stuff and leave the island cuz this is making me annoyed as hell rn i dont even know why i cooped her in the first place i just didnt want to say no and upset her but send help pls

This is an incredibly tough situation to be in. I would agree with Pingu. Your island, your rules. Simple.

 

i know it is i was thinking of coop kicking her when shes offline and leave a note behind to let her know why but i will leave her trusted so she can move her stuff and make a new island.

 

Ugh, it sucks to be the person to tell someone to leave no matter where you are in life: breakups, group projects at school, firing someone at work, encouraging someone to step down, things like that. It's best to get it done before it's too late, and do it face to face (so no kicking while she's offline!). Do it before any more damage is done. Just be kind, be honest, and be prepared for her to be a little annoyed.

Its your island so your rules but i would do what you said here, that would probably be what i would do.

 

I hate these situations too, just be honest with them.

 

Just pretend you're breaking up with them.

 

Be honest and everything will be okay.

 

Before you kick her, pull her aside and tell her that what she's building isn't fitting the aesthetic of the island. So if you can find a common ground with her and then move on from there. Try and work with her to fix it up. Many things can be improved and made better over time.

So my (old) island used to be pretty but lots of people built weird things on it including me but I learnt to appreciate it and see it as a gift from my friends

Just tell her that what she's building looks good but it isn't what you needed so maybe she could build something else.

i decided to leave an quick note just to let her that i wasnt ready to build houses until i finished the floor of the base and that i wanted her to ask me what shes building before doing it & she can stick with the banner shop for now until i finish and after that she was very understanding and said she didnt know anyways..

can a mod quicking hop in and lock this for me
