CS:GO should be safe to play but it's better to stay away from it at the moment - because there's no telling if an exploit would be discovered and made from it as well. The amount of cheaters you're going to discover in games is going to double, triple, even quadruple in the following weeks - and they're going to be worse than ever as new modules are going to be coded out of this source leak left and right. Be warned that this is over 4.5 GB in size with double-layer compression, and the true size is about 15 GB. It was said that a member of VNN's modding crew had the entire source to both CS:GO and TF2. This member was transgender, and most importantly was starting to get offended by another member of the modding crew, and VNN, out of fear for getting called transphobic, kicked one of the members (I cannot say which one). This led to said member being infuriated, leaking the source then did something else that's not appropriate to discuss. He was arrested before he could get on a plane and all the blame's getting piled onto VNN for doing things that he probably shouldn't have - including getting the source in the first place.
