i was just thinking, i don't usually get to play on the minecraft server as much as i want to but i do know i can be active on the forums very regularly and i was thinking it might be a good idea to have a staff position called Forum-Mod and the purpose of these would be to go online on the forums and make sure all the content is appropriate, answer questions for new forum guests and just generally help out the forums. i don't know if there is anything that wouldn't work with this plan and i think it would make life a bit easier
SUPPORT That may or may not be because I have probably set the record for most forum posts in a month
In-game Mods are also forum mods. I wanted to add this when I was an admin, but it's not worth micromanaging.
haha i had just reached 300 posts i think but then once the forums went down, it went down to 75.. at least i have more posative ratings that posts now
Also, I really want this to be added, I can't remember who it was, but one staff had 2 posts. One to make their application. And one to bump it. Half the mods barely even go on the forums...
It's been suggested, and rejected many times. Do you not see how much staff there is almost 24/7 on these forums?
i totally agree with you there, there are some mods who are just boss and post 24/7 e.g. maximilian500 but then there are people who have 8 posts e.g rossfinegan (no offence intended)
I think we're doing at fine job. There is at LEAST 3-5 mods online at any given time any given day. And peak times; like 10-15
A lot of these mods are american and come on around 2-4 GMT but when i wake up at 8 am gmt there is maximum 5 mods online and they are usually playing on the server so dont see the forums.
Some mods are more active then others, whatever. You aren't thinking of the 15-20 staff members on at time... Btw Ross isn't mod anymore.
There are multiple mods on most of the time and like said previously in-game mods are also forum mods.
Being a forum mod doesn't really help on forums besides deleting inappropriate stuff or something.. Mods are given forum mod so we can handle that plus stuff like appeals etc.. Having it is pointless and it has been rejected all the time it was suggested
You wouldn't do anything... Threads don't need to be archived every minute. If you need a mod to archive just tag us..

ok. i do see what everyone is trying to say and i do agree with it all. lol it just came to the top of my head.
As said many times above, we have plenty of Moderators on at once. Just be patient if you inboxed one of them for something.
