First, I would like to start off by saying: This moderator app is long. I apologize for the length, but I just needed to get everything in here and be honest. I've spent three days on this, checking it over and over, having others read it and give me suggestions. Thank you to those who helped me on this, I appreciate it. Hope to get a response soon!

    Enjoy!

    Your in-game name:

My IGN is kmharrison5167, and my nickname is Km.

    Which timezone are you in?
    I’m in Eastern Standard Time.

    Which languages do you speak?
I speak fluent English, and I speak a little Spanish and French.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Yes, I have been banned once. A couple months ago, when my IGN was MiniModKm, the user MiniModMiranda was sending fake messages. Assuming a mod just typed in /ban MiniMod and hit shift, I got banned instead of MiniModMiranda. It was just an honest mistake on the moderator’s part, and I understand that. Moderators are people too, so they make mistakes just as much as anyone else would.

Why do you think you should be a mod?

I asked around, and people have told me that I hold the traits below!

Respectful: I respect everyone, no matter what. I know that even though people can be plain rude, that I must keep my cool and keep on going on. If someone is being rude to me while I’m trying to help them, I keep my cool.
People are not expected to be too happy when something bad happens to them. I treat everyone with respect, even if they don’t return the favor. That’s just the way I was raised.

Helpful: Many people have told me that I am very helpful to the server, whether it’s because I remind people of the rules constantly when I’m online, or whether it’s even helping someone who’s new to the server get materials and build stuff to be able for them to get a profit coming in.

Compassionate: As a moderator on this server, in order to help someone, you have to put your own problems aside, and that’s exactly the kind of thing I can do. I feel what people are going through on their island; whether it’s being griefed, scammed, or even just losing something in clear lag. Because I’ve been on this server for almost 2 years now, all of that – and more – has happened to me at least once.

Responsible: Nobody’s perfect, but I can say that I have taken on some huge personal responsibilities in my past, which haven’t been that easy. But those responsibilities shape me to be who I am today, and I’m proud to say that. I feel that the amount of responsibility I have is enough to be a moderator of this server.

Hard-working: When I know something needs to be done, it gets done as soon as possible. I’m the kind of person when I start something, I—usually – don’t stop until it’s finished. If it’s something I’m passionate about, you bet it’ll get done as fast as I can get it done. I’ve been on this server for about 2 years, so this is something I’m extremely passionate about. Being a moderator takes a lot of hard work, and I'm willing to give it my all.

Honest: Honesty is the foundation to everything, whether it's friendship, relationship, or even just trading some items on Skyblock. Scamming is a no-no, if it's a large trade, I call a moderator to spectate. I'm always working to make sure not only me, but other players are working towards being more honest. To be a good moderator, I promise to be honest; always.

Friendly: I know when I started on Skyblock, I wanted someone who was friendly and willing to help me without being mean to teach me about this brand new awesome server I just found! I want to be able to be that person to so many more people, whether it’s donating some materials such as tools and cobblestone to giving them a little bit of grass to give them a kick start. I want to be the good first impression to someone new just as someone was to me! I want to be able to do this as a moderator to help people like this to give the server a good first impression to people first joining.

Motivated & Willing: As I said earlier, I’m always motivated to do stuff I am passionate about, and this server is one of the few things I am extremely passionate about!

Understanding: I’ve been through a lot in this lifetime, some things I’m thankful for, and others I’m not. I understand when someone’s had a bad day, and it just keeps getting worse. I want to be able to be the sunshine in someone’s day, that one person that made this player’s day so much better. I want to be that guy. As stated above, I want to be a moderator and do this to leave a good impression for others.

Encouraging: I’ve encouraged people to actually play Skyblock. Just today, I convinced someone to not quit Skyblock, because he was just throwing in the towel. I showed the player my island, and other’s islands, I showed this player how wonderful the server could be if he just kept on trying to get things, kept trying to get grass and vote keys. Not only that, I’ve talked people in and out of things outside of Minecraft. If you want something bad enough, then you have to give forth effort for it to happen. I can push people to what they want, if they just try as much as I do. Encouragement is an important trait for moderating, in my opinion, and I think I'm encouraging enough to be able to do it as a mod.

Kind & Sweet: I’ve been told by many people on the server that I’m sweet and kind to others. I make friends with people on this server very easily, and I think that’s a top-notch trait needed in order to effectively be a moderator. I greet everybody as they come and say goodbye to everyone leaving while I am online and not AFK.

Forgiving: As mad as I can get at someone, I almost always forgive them, no matter how big or small the quarrel is. Although, on this server, I rarely get mad just because everyone on the server are so nice. I believe that being forgiving is useful for a moderator position.

Patient: I am very patient with everybody. If you need something, but cannot do it at the moment, I am always willing to wait; always. I am patient when someone is on my island, whether they’re shopping or they went AFK.

Active on the Server: I’ve been on almost every day ever since. I don’t plan to stop being active, because this server is awesome and I love everyone in it! :)

Mature: This is probably one of the most needed traits to become a moderator, and I understand why. Being a moderator is a huge responsibility. Being mature, it’s not that you can’t tell jokes or you can’t mess around. It’s about when things get serious; you need to snap into it. Having immature moderators is like having a kid in a business meeting; they just don’t fit together. Because of the life I’ve lived, I’ve been forced to grow up mentally faster than a kid should. I do believe that the level of maturity I have fits this job.

I am NOT perfect: I know I am not perfect, but I try my best to be my best each and every day. I go off sometimes, I get mad, I get sad. I have emotions. I don't want these things to get in my way, but there's really nothing I can do to stop them if these types of things happen. I am a human too. I might need to leave in the middle of the day, I might need to just log off early just because I'm about to fall over and sleep or I'm sick. I hope you all can understand this.

How long can you be active on the server every day?

    Monday: Around 5pm-10pm

    Tuesday: 4pm-10pm

    Wednesday: 5pm-10pm

    Thursday: 4pm-10pm

    Friday: 5pm-12am

    Saturday: 12pm-12am

    Sunday: 10am-1am & 8pm-10pm

(Events may show up, and I might not be able to be on as long on some days.)

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
I do not have any experience as a moderator, which is a little let-down, but I hope to make the best of it if I do!

First time in a long while that I've actually been excited to see a mod app.

    Complete support.

Not because I'm your friend, but because I see such wonderful potential in you. You'd be a lovely mod and I'm so excited for you to be taken into account.

    Advantages:
    - The application structure itself is decent, there aren't many aspects of the layout that I'd change here! So well done for that.
    - Grammer was also pretty good, with a few mishaps here and there; this is to be expected though!
    - With each of attributes mentioned you went into a relatively good amount of detail, which shows you've spent time on trying to get the point you wanted to express across.
    - I like the start, a good introduction that welcomes everyone to read the application without specifically picking people out to say 'thank you' for reading the application.

    Disadvantages:
    - The use of colour put me off instantly as I'm not a big fan, it deems the application in my eyes to be immature and unprofessional. (In my opinion)
    - There was no information about how you'd impact the server personally, how you'd do something different to everyone else to make sure that you stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately there was no sign of this aspect of the application; which is a major downfall.
    - There was no starter point' or introduction under the heading of 'Why you should be mod'. It just goes into a list of attributes which makes the reading process a pinch harder.
    - I found it unnecessary to add the ban that was mistakenly given to you, as the ban was not intended for you, you did not get banned perminantly. (Matter of opinion).

    Suggestions:
-I would remove the colours that are used, for the reasons that have already been stated.
    - Another Grammer check wouldn't go amiss as some of the sentences were very long winded.
    - Add more information about you personally in the hypothetical scenario of being a moderator. How would you uniquely do the job?

    Judgment: Neutral

I like it, I see the potential in you.
75% support, because you do need to fix a few more things like Fell_in_lava said.
To help, read it like you are a person who never seen it before, see if you think it makes sense.
I like your personality, You seem trust worthy.
    Good luck! ;)
    (ill follow you) :)

Full Support. You're always online when I get online, and you help a lot too. You have a LOT of potential and I would love to see you moderate along with us. Only thing I want to say is maybe go around the forums and look at the different sections. You'll find how to do stuff as a moderator, for example, the Ban Archives and Report Archives ^-^.

I agree with Fell in lava (who is always amazing at pros and cons). But one more thing I might add is get more active on the forum. I have seen you a lot in game but not as much on the forums. For now

You're qualified, and you'd be amazing. I just think you sometimes get sidetracked. Nevertheless, full support.
