You cannot view who muted you. You can ask a friend to ask all mods online who muted you, but that's about it. Or unless the mod says it after they mute you.
By the looks your alt was muted for having an inappropriate name. You can appeal the mute if you think it is wrong and that will help you know who did it. Otherwise you will need to change the name.
For the mod and reason ask someone to ask a mod and tell you if the mod tells them. All mods are different. Some will keep the info confidential and/or some will tell you.
Most mods will say who unless instructed otherwise. Things like kicks and small mutes the mod does not need to be identified however mutes that require appeal is where the mod should own up.
When a mod mutes with the intent that the player muted will appeal, shouldn't the mod be watching appeals for that person? If they are, then it doesn't matter if they say they did it before, as they will be the one dealing with the appeal.
I don't see what this question has to do with what I said. The mod "owning up" happens when the mute is questioned anyway unless staff a) record the mute for all staff to see so any staff can say who muted or b) the mod wants to let that person know prior to appeal. Of course the mod would be checking appeals.
Maybe I don't understand what you mean by the mod owning up. Who would be questioning the mute? The player who was muted?
