Mods treat me like crap :(

I am never coming back until this is resolved. I am not going to ruin my life with people always getting mad at me for not responding. The way the mods treat me is unacceptable.



Every once and a while i need help from a mod urgently on on .org. I ask for help and they dont even respond, they just ignore me It makes me really mad and then I msg them like 3 times for help and they just ignore me again and mute me permanantly! Then when my friends come on and talk to me, I cant respond. They then get really mad at me D; Mods! Please stop ignoring me! Lots of times ill see you guys chatting away with people in the chat and you seem to rather chat with the highrollers than help me Can somebody please unmute me and tell the mods to stop ignoring me?!?!?

 

You should really give out the name of the mod in question, so not all the mods get blamed.

Yes, I understand that they are busy, but sometimes i will ask for help when they are chatting away with highrollers in the chat about random stuff. Even when they are able to respond, they just ignore me. Until I am unmuted and this is fixed i wont be playing on skyblock much.

 

It sucks that your experience is ruined by this, but realise this. Mods get about 3 / 4x as many messages as you do, they might not see it right away.
What also helps is to tell them your problem right away.. not just message them 'HELP ME'. People often enough ask for help and then just show them their island.
What you want to do is just
/msg [mod] Hey, I have a problem. [problem]

and if they don't respond right away, just send another message like..
/msg [mod] Hey, my problem persists. [problem]

 

Still, all mods should reply ! even if there busy,​

how hard is it to write, ​

'i'm busy, at the moment sorry'​

or​

'what do you need ? i don't have long'​

 

I agree with ally hale. Mods should at least respond. And i do tell them my problem. but they dont respond.

 

I try where I can quickly with /r [msg], but I'm often bombarded with them it's hard to capture everyone.
Technically, I'm supposed to be taking a break from moderation. Don't know where that went o.o

It what the forum here are for also, post your issue, and i am sure they will get to you when they can;. Don't forget, Mods are players to, sometimes they are busy, other time, they like to play a little too.

 

I'll let you know I was the one who muted you and I muted you for the reason of repeated spam in all caps. I have seen several reports and I have witnessed you doing it myself so I decided on a 1 day mute.

As for mods not helping, you would be surprised. Mods do not make their help public and just because we aren't helping you right away does not mean we aren't helping at all. I am often in the middle of answering questions or aiding a player on their island when I get another 3-5 messages of people needing help. I often do my best to get back to each person but it is difficult especially with the speed the chat moves for us.

I've seen you on like... 100 times.

 

Maxi it wasnt you. but I do want to say that mods, if someone needs help but you cant respond, please just say that you are busy, dont ignore people.

 

I do that, but I mostly say 5 sec, then help them, sometimes I take to many questions at once > _ >

 

Its a mods job to help others.
