Hi I had 2 cows, 2 pigs, 2 sheep, a few chickens and a name-tagged horse- all were gone when I logged on today. I usually check in every other day. Just wondered if there was a new rule around mobs. Seems unlikely they were killed (but is possible) as nothing was griefed.
Sometimes the mobs dissappear from time to time if the server detects higher than normal lag in that area. Do you have any screenshots of the animals?
That is a good suggestion blaq but grieving is always possible when I was griefed I hadn't let anyone on my island for a week. Oh and I had your same issue twice but the first time I left it for a bit and they came back. The second time they never came back though. Good luck and stay happy
I had a look, it appears that there's 1 and only 1 spot that you can spawn animals on, thats near the farm area. Not sure why this is the case, I suspect it's to do with the cobble slabs placed under the animal area, but I can't be 100% sure because I removed the cobble slabs and still got the same effect. For now the only thing I can suggest is to spawn the animals there, and use leads to lead them up to the farm area.
