Mob Arena
There's been a lot of discussion about mob arena recently on what is allowed, what isn't allowed, and a lot of questions about the arena. This thread lists the legal and illegal things for the mob arena, and also mentions some frequently asked questions and information. Subject to change, please keep updated.

Rules
Hacking is strictly not permitted in the arena. All forms of hacks are not allowed to be used in the arena, as this can be classified as cheating and exploiting the game. This can include, but is not limited to, fly hacking, speed hacking, kill aura and any other hack that can put you in advantage of the mobs and/or other players. The only hack that is permitted on the mob arena, is fullbright.
Hacking can lead to a 3-7 day ban depending on the hacks used.

AFK is not permitted in the arena. This is unfair to other players who are working in the arena and then players who are AFK also earn their rewards whilst doing nothing in order to contribute. Please remember to take into consideration other players when joining the arena at a busy time of day, if you are likely to need to go out halfway through the arena, then don't join, join when you come back, because other people can then use your space instead.
AFKing can result in a kick from the arena.

Using alternate accounts for player benefits is also strictly not permitted. This means bringing on one or more account(s) online to join the mob arena. This is because players are not allowed to get double rewards as it’s unfair on other players, this is also not allowed when there are insufficient amount of players online for the arena.

How many rounds are there?
40.

How do I ready up?
Hit the iron blocks.

What do I get if we reach wave 40?
You either get a nether star or your own head (nether stars are rarer to win than your own head)

What other things do I get?
Blocks and items, such as sand, raw nether quartz, stone, vines et cetera.

Are there bosses?
Yes, every 10 rounds.
