We are all human. We make mistakes. But we and others can learn from our mistakes by telling about them. What is the worst mistake you made that you think other people should avoid doing? Inspiration drawn from here. My worst mistake was cooping 2 people who never left and came on 1 day only to steal my whole cocoa farm.
My worst mistake was when I left my island unlocked and when I came back the whole lobby was griefed!
Don't let your anger get the best of you and do not let yourself get burned out. This is advice for people who want mod and for the staff team. When I let my problems get in the way of how I moderate and how I interact with the team I made a lot more enemies than I had friends. Why? Because I refused to take breaks, I took the responsibility of other mods upon myself and got bitter. As a player I was too obsessed with getting staff. I would get really bitter when I wasn't picked and start to hate those promoted before me for no reason. I would literally not get any of my irl stuff done because I was focused on the pursuit. You can show you care without trying overly hard and burning out
Don't mess with friends like you do with others. Some don't have as thick a skin. Learnt the hard way
