Turns out I have a lot of time on my hands when I'm not allowed on the forums, so here, have a pretty MS paint banner.​

Indeed, I moderated by them for longer than the banning mod has, so you'd hope so.

Why do you think you were banned?
For liking three of one player's posts for the second time (though it was a different player this time).

Was this an incorrect ban?
Tricky question: yes and no. I was banned as according to the unwritten rules on rate abuse, so the rules can't be incorrect, but I do not agree with the ban per se, otherwise I wouldn't be appealing it.

Were you ever banned before on Skyblock? If so, what for?
I was banned after my demotion, but the ban was immediately lifted.

Why do you think you should be unbanned?
The reason behind my ban was purely accidental. It wasn't that I wasn't aware of the rule--I was--nor was I actively trying to break it--I never do. By this reasoning, there was no way for me to avoid being banned, and therefore the punishment (a weeks ban! wew!) is punishing me for an unavoidable consequence of my "rate philanthropy".
In the future, I promise you this won't happen again, for the simple reason that I'm no longer going to use ratings. They clearly cause more trouble than they're worth. So, in a way, I propose this: Could my current punishment of a weeks ban be exchanged for a metaphorical redaction of my rating permissions? It is allegedly a worse punishment than a 168-hour ban, according to that infractions thread.
This is amazing. Your thread dictates that someone being unable to use an arbitrary rating system for a month is a worse punishment than being completely disallowed and banned for an entire week...? Ratings are less than worthless: they perpetuate hate and argument on the forums! Kill the rating system I say! /tangent over
So, summary: I have learnt from my mistakes and going a step further than not abusing the rating system, I'm never going to even use the rating system ever again. I'm sorry that I was too friendly to Gumo and Sean: I often rate as a form of "I-acknowledge-you-posted-but-I-don't-have-anything-to-say". Turns out that today I had less to say than usual. Until now, I suppose.

I promise to not give them out at all. But yes, if I were to give out a rating, I would be sure to distribute them evenly and not appear to abuse the system, you have my word.
