Lots of Suggestions #2

Hello all, As I said I was making another one of these, had a lot of irl stuff to deal with but now I'm back to reformat my first post, If you would like to see the last old outdated version you can find it here .ORG - Economy Sever, Lots of Suggestions. Please Read Them ALL! | Skyblock Forums

1. More Items added to the /warp shop as the shop right now has a very limited compared to before the big reset(since dupe)... It would be nice since in skyblock you cannot really go mining to craft things...

• More Creativity
• More things in game is fun
• Can't really ruin economy

2. Hoppers should be voted to be re-implemented ONLY IF the dupe is fixed by minecraft, once they are fixed a server-wide poll should decide to keep or remove them.

• This should have seperate poll when they are fixed to decide
• Very split topic in server.
• May still be glitched making them unable to be added.

3. The lottery should be re-worked, either to have the price be raised or more tickets. As of right now they are 50$ each and a maximum of 2 can be bought, I suggest 500$ a ticket and a max of 2 tickets.

• Lottery is useless as of now.
• A few thousand $'s for a lotto won't bankrupt anyone.
• Lottery shouldn't be too big but at the moment its so small it is not working as it should be..

4. /bal (playername) I think a command like this to check the balance of another player would be helpful, just to try to make a goal or see someone on chat and wonder how much they are balling...

• I've seen this suggested in another topic and it is a very good idea.
• Can't be too hard to add into the game

Adds Competitiveness to people who wants to be on baltop 1 or just kick their friends butts in $$$.
5. Update /rules so they are more complete

• Address Island Farming
• Multi-Logging
• Use of hack clients ect.

Why u still suggesting the lottery idea. No just no for that

 

I support points:
1- More items in the shop would be very useful for building, general use, etc. as org used to have many items before reset which are now unavailable to players.
4- I do agree this command should be implemented, as it is a nuisance to look for someones balance using the provided /baltop command, especially if you do not know a general idea of that player's balance.
5- I also agree the rules should be updated, as many players on the forums have talked about this as well. To many the rules have started to become 'outdated' and need to be refreshed in order to establish what is considered legal, illegal, etc.

I am neutral with points:
2- Assuming hoppers are fixed, I remain neutral to whether or not to implement them into the economy server, as before reset hoppers were used to operate massive pumpkin farms. From personal experience I would make 60k overnight from not playing at all. On the other hand, hoppers can be very useful in terms of simple machines, donation chests at islands, etc.

I disagree with points:
3- The lottery system is fine as is, raising the price for lottery tickets has been suggested before, and I believe the current price of $50 should remain as if the price is higher players might gamble all of their money away (yet I understand some people do enjoy high risk high reward systems and gambling).

 

Support for all exept lottery

Because personally seeing 1 person play the lotto and win their 100$ back is pretty pitiful.

 

I am re mentioning more appropriate things that should be implemented, I said the point 2 will be voted on a seperate post, not on this one, as hoppers are a big serverwide update to re-implement them. point 3 probably will get taken down. number 4, I put it in my own words. #5 I did /rules haven't seen island griefing, multi-accounting or anything just 5 basic rules, there should be a link to a thread full of rules.

I quite like all the suggestions.
The lottery one though, didn't really sound that great.

 

What are your thoughs on the current lottery with each player wagering 100$ total per lotto? Should it be re-worked, removed or just not changed? (This question is for everyone by the way, for my next thread)
