Leaving Net: Giving Away My Wealth To Deserving People

Hi, you might remember me as kwilson7770 (my old username) or as Wilson__ my current username. I have been playing on Net for 2 years or so (lost track) and I am no longer interested playing on the server anymore due to what it evolved into. I am not saying that it is a bad thing, I am just saying that I am ready to move on. With that being said, I feel that just removing my accumulated wealth by just leaving (or resetting my island) seems like a big waste considering I spent actual money on acquiring it as well as a lot of time and effort.

I experienced numerous drop parties (even /warp dropparty ^_^) while I played here and I realized that they do not give everyone a chance to "win" free drops (timezones differences, afk'ers, latency, etcetera). So I am going to give my wealth away to deserving people that are nominated in this thread, that have replied below showing that they are deserving, or people I know personally that are deserving.

I usually would donate items to players in need of them, but sometimes I'm not able to give them the items because I don't have enough items as I like to donate but still keep a fair amount of items for myself.

I would like to be apart of your generosity because I feel like I would not only be able to help other people with giving some rares away to less fortune people, but to help with my island. I believe my island, when finished, will help the community greatly.

It will contain helpful areas that I hope will be able to help skyblockers old and new. Currently, though I have been getting some donations, I have still not even been able to finish the outside, this donation will help tremendously and will defiantly help speed along the process of the build, and help skyblockers even faster then before!

I give everything away on drop parties and I really need to restock, even if its just wood or cobble or anything.

Normally, when I receive a large amount of valuables, rares, etc., at least half of them will go to a drop party and the rest will be sold for a cheap price for those who did not get anything from the drop party. If I have a few extra valuables to spare, these could go towards refunding players who've been scammed or people who just need a few items to get started on their island.

I'm not intent in enthralling myself in the economical division however I'd be more than thrilled to have a few valuables to hang onto during my stay in this community and when I eventually move on I'll presumably give them away as I usually do when I receive valuables. I'm aware this may sound like a whim and I'll agree on that to a certain extent but why not give this a shot?

I think it was a few months before spleef was removed (late 2014?) and I took a break after Stel kindly upgraded me from a greenie. I returned when my forums account was made.

-Well, I don't own much on .net. I recently lost over 40 diamonds, due to the person I had my stuff with, re-starting his island by accident(Don't know how). Therefore, If I do get some of your wealth, I would be able to improve on my island and keep evolving it into something better.

I originally joined Skyblock on December 2012. I played on and off, and then took a 4-5 month break from it. A few months back, I re-joined, and started playing on it a few hours each day.

Well... for starters I'm really quite sad you're leaving. I know we didn't talk much for a long time, but still, I didn't really talk to anyone on TS for a long time, heh. Anyway, moving on. I currently have about... 30 diamonds or so? I don't really know. Point is, I'm not exactly rolling in it. My diamonds rarely get over a stack, and this is because I keep giving it away to people. Because I am a mod, I'm constantly refunding out of my own diamonds if someone has lost say, one or two diamonds. But a little while ago I got a bit too philanthropic and opened my ender chest to the upsetting sight of no diamonds. When people who have just straight lost their diamonds, and there's no way I can help them at all, it SUCKS. Apart from the fact the people scammed rarely understand why I can't refund them and end up calling me 'greedy' or such, it doesn't feel good to know that the score is now scammers - 1, and innocent skyblockers - 0.

Anyway, I don't really "need" your rares. In fact, I think you are perfectly entitled to sit on all your items and not give them out at all. But I think it's a very honourable thing that you are doing this. And if I did get any of your rares, I would be eternally in your debt.

I'm not here to try and enrich myself in a way other than through hard work, like you yourself did.
I've talked to you once for a solid two hours, about a year ago, and really got the impression that you're a decent person, and someone fun to be around with.
If this is a definite farewell from your part, I wish you all the best in the future. It's sad to see someone like you leave. I just wanted to say farewell and goodbye.

 

Hi! sorry I do not know you but I am sorry you are leaving... A suggestion though, in a few months or so down the road you might want to come on periodically so you might want to hang onto your stuff for the time being.. Maybe in a few weeks or months if you feel the same way then you can give your stuff away.. again just a suggestion... Good luck on your other adventures!

 

I can't force you to stay, but you shouldn't leave. It would be nice if you stayed, but the choice is yours. If you leave I hope you will still talk and stuff on the forums so we can still have a way to talk to you if we don't have another way.

Hi Wilson, I cant say i have met you but you seem like a nice person from what i have seen
I think i deserve to recive part of your wealth because I had over 524 dias and then they were glitched and gone. Cyp has not refunded me and i have little hope he will.

I have been playing .net for about a year now and have never had my wealth for long amounts of time.
