I'm going to handle this. I've been staff on here for 2 years and 2 months. I hope that is enough for you to listen to me.

I'm going to speak to Blyx and ask for information from her point of view and then I'll give you my second-hand opinion. Is that fair enough?

Firstly, I suggest you rethink what you type in your appeal. Calling people "witch hunters" and "nazis" isn't going to help you in any way whatsoever. I understand that you're angry and displeased but being impolite and audacious isn't going to solve anything.

 

Then surely you would remember Blyx being staff for 11 months back in 2016. Again, you described it as Nazi. Calling anyone a Nazi is downright unacceptable.

Bans can be given out to players if they committed a crime that means a ban is necessary. Now, I haven't spoke to Blyx about it yet, so this may or may not be the case.

If you're joking or not, talking about "sexual things" is punishable. The players who you're speaking to may not understand that you're being sarcastic or joking, this can genuinely make players frightened and uncomfortable with the conversation. Again, I don't know the full situation so I can't make a full judgement on the punishment given. I'm just simply informing you of the consequences and how the receiving end may feel about the situation.

Thank you for your response. I do understand your concern, anger and frustration towards the situation. Blyx resigned due to personal reasons back in 2016. After them personal reasons had blown over, she reapplied and fortunately was promoted again.

James and Michael may have been online yet not seen the situation due to them dealing with helping other players throughout being online. That's not something I can truly give you an opinion on since I don't know.

Since Blyx and myself living in the BST timezone, it is very early morning and she is most likely asleep at this time. It is very likely that the appeal will be continued later on, so I apologise if you hear no response or if there is not much progression with the appeal until hours later. I'll try my best to respond to you ASAP.

 

Just check the forums whenever you can. I'd like to keep the appeal on the forums so that other staff, including higher staff, can also view the appeal. Also as it may be crucial if there are future appeals.

From the information provided, publically, you were offering "cute girls" rares for them to do things such as "freak" for you.
Freak: "behave or cause to behave in a wild and irrational way".

Furthermore, one person who you were talking to reported your behaviour, possibly meaning that even if you didn't expect to come across in the way you did, they felt extremely uncomfortable and frightened in that situation.

This server has a target audience of all ages, including young children. As staff, we aim to keep the community safe and feel welcomed by people, not confronted by people offering items to do "sexual things", in what you described what was happening earlier.

Furthermore, your punishment was a ban as you are a repeat offender in behaving inappropriately. You have been warned multiple times in the past for being inappropriate and been muted and banned for the same thing too. How come after all that you thought it was okay to ask "cute girls" to do things for you? As a fully capable adult, surely you would understand that from the receiving end or from a second-hand point of view, that can almost seem paedophilic, even if you don't intend it to be that way. I am sure it was all in your best intention and I'm sure you didn't intend to cause harm, but please remember how other people may respond to the situation.

Considering you're a repeat offender in being inappropriate and you state to have read the rules, I believe you should wait out the ban which will end in 6 days. We try to keep the community welcoming and respectful.

I'm taking this from a second-hand point of view and I believe that Blyx's judgement was correct, especially as she looked thoroughly at the case. I appreciate your politeness and for being respectful to me. I hope and I believe that in the next 6 days, you can understand how that behaviour isn't allowed on the server.
