I managed to push GeoSkye on .org, assuming she was on 1.9. Mods feel free to hide this.

1.8 > 1.9
I believe having a more safe server is a bigger priority than how many players you get.

But if we lose the amount of people we get, it will be harder to run the server and get donations.

Anyway, On another server I was on the had a plug-in disabling the ability to push someone who's in 1.9. I think that might work here.

People can very easily switch back to 1.8 from 1.9, and vice versa. It wouldn't affect donations at all.

 

But what will happen when Skyblock turns fully into a 1.9 server?? Exactly

 

Yeah, then we'll have to use 1.9. But right now it's not fully 1.9, and if we can totally eliminate a problem from just requiring players to use a different MC version, then I'd say we should do it.

If we would make this 1.8 only the server would be as good as dead in a year.
