Items dissapeared from my inventory again

(This is on .net) This morning, I had a full set of tools in my inventory, and some other stuff. I go offline for a few hours, and come back to find out that a couple of these items were missing from my inventory. This has happened to me once before, and we were not able to figure out why it happened. 3 items were missing: My shovel, my axe, and my boots. These were not newly crafted items, but they were not very damaged either. The axe was a little more than half way damaged, but the shovel and boots were not very close to breaking. Also, if they were not broken when I left the server for a couple hours, how would they be broken right when I got on? I think it would be very strange if 3 items out of my inventory all broke around the same time, when I wasnt even using them. I couldn't have died, because everything else still remained in my inventory. Also, I couldn't have dropped them by accident because I was wearing the boots, and never took them off, and I don't see how i can accidently throw two items from my inventory. I am still clueless to why this happened, and I would like to hear what you guys think about it. I talked to a mod, and we considered the possible reasons as to why it happened. While playing on .net today (The next day) , I was rummaging through my chests, trying to sort them. I noticed that my bedrock was missing from my valuables/rares chest. I don't know why this keeps happening. I had a mod log the chest, and nobody had taken from it.

 

I have no idea what this could be, but more information never hurts. So... first off which server is this?

And then were these newly created items, or how long did you have them? Did they have any damage?

Also, what possible reasons have you already ruled out, so that we don't reinvent the wheel? Or were they the ones you listed (death and dropping).

 

Thanks for the suggestions, I will edit it and add that information. And yes, those were the possible ways that we ruled out.

 

I May not know how this happened but I may be able to refund you some items

 

Change your password, maybe someone is hacking :O

It has not been resolved, but I don't think that it ever will be. I see that there is no need for this thread anymore, so you may lock it.

 

I'm pretty sure the bedrock was taken as it's illegal to own. As for the tools.. I'm not really sure, did you may Q them away? -- What type were they?
