Island Lag

I don't know why but on my island, I'm lagging way more then I am at spawn or someplace else. Even on other people's islands I don't lag. Is it because I have too many animals or my island is too big? Please help because its really annoying and it didn't before. I know the [Broadcast] says the lag is from 1.6 update but stated above, I am not lagging that much at spawn or someplace else. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Depends on what activity in on your island, yeah. If you have like a gazillion mobs, kill about 1/2 or 3/4 of them and see if that helps. The more there are on your island, the more the server has to do to process it - same for your Minecraft window.

RROD i have been lagging because of my sheep too, i have around 12 (didn't count)

but it has never happened before..

 

That's cause your island it too big , spawn is small it's just some flying islands , and they're around 40-50 x 50-40 blocks

But in players islands i see HUGE towers, mobs ..etc

So , i guess all what you need is to wait until they update optifine to 1.6.1

Will they 1.6 lag be fixed any time soon?!
