Hello there! So, I went with my dad, to the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump. Now, this thread is what I experienced, and is to tell you it accurately, and no(t many) misconceptions. Also I did this because a profile post is just too big :c Mkay, so lets have fun talking about this s***. Just thought I'd share this with you all, if you're actually interested d: I also probably used the same words to start of paragraphs over and over, and some grammar/tense errors. I'm tired, don't sue me. ;w;
It's very nice of you to share a moment with your dad of something not many people go to. That is for this certain election. I hope you had fun c:
He took me specifically because he wanted me to experience it, and see history. Another one of his points was because of the fact we wanted to see how the media portrayed it. Like I said in some of this, the Mall got shut down and no one without tickets could get even close to it without lining up next to the parade route. The media's basically portraying it like people didn't bother to show up. It's not really like that at all, but there did seem to be a even ratio of supporters to 'protesters'.
Hi Will2kill I like your entry of your experience . Btw how's the train ride to D.C.? And do you have any pictures of you seeing Air Force One flying or on the ground? I wish I could go to D.C. by train but its too far and I live in California. But I saw parts of it on TV and it was nice.
No pictures, I don't think. It flew directly overhead, and my dad's the only one who took pictures. It was easy to tell it was them, it was just 1 helo.
