I'm not a rule breaker.

3. Are you now or have you ever been Banned at Skyblock (explain)? yes. I got a 6 hr temp ban for arguing with a mod who I thought had wrongfully banned someone. I didn't understand that this should be done on the forums and not in game. It hasn't happened again.
4. Did you read the rules & in-game /warp FAQ? yes
5. What exactly did you do? (Rules broken, dates, coords, in-game accomplices) ? I went exploring. I wanted to see just how big the server was. I flew out from spawn over hundreds of deserted islands. I kept my inv empty and did not deliberately loot unrestricted islands. I looked at the contents of unrestricted chests but did not take items. I informed several mods that I had done this and I behaved myself. I found an island where the chest must have been broken right before the user logged off because the items hadn't despawned. As I flew by, I accidentally collected a single dirt block. I attempted to drop it, but anytime I'd interact with a block, it would reappear. I forget how I finally got rid of it. I either placed it on an unrestricted island or placed it at mine, broke it, and threw it into the void. Either way, I didn't keep it.
6. Why do YOU think you deserve Amnesty ? I was exploring and seeking a better understanding. I didn't reveal the location of unrestricted islands to any non-mods. Several mods were aware that I did this, and I even brought two mods to view a large unrestricted island with lots of dirt and ice. I did not loot, or grief. I kept no blocks and I had almost no interaction. Frankly the best argument that I should receive amnesty for this is the fact that the 2 mods who joined me didn't ban me at the time or even ask me to leave. They asked if I was behaving and I said yes, and that was the end of it. But I am a stickler for the rules, and I thought I should post here to keep myself clear.

Just try to be careful when you're exploring, and if something like this happens again, you can message a mod to take the item out of your inv for you.
