So, a bit ago I wandered over to the shop to buy someone the $10 .NET package. Out of habit and probably tiredness, I auto-filled my way past the username entry screen and purchased donor10 for myself, despite the fact that I've already got donor25.

I know it's not the norm to issue refunds, but I hope it doesn't hurt to ask if I could please get that $10 kicked back out to me.
[Edit: Bah, it's not even that important, and it went to a good place.]

If a refund is completely out of the question, maybe it wouldn't [Would it] be too much trouble to credit it to a friend of mine instead?

    Sincerely,
The guy who pushed the big red button without RTFM

This isn't really a discussion subforum, but yes, it was a mistake as stated in the title. Money also doesn't grow on trees, which is why I bothered inquiring at all.

Anyway, that's all moot. I edited out the request for a refund over 8 hours ago. I'll live, obviously.

If any staff could chime in with regards to my request to apply the $10 to my friend's account instead of mine, it would be quite appreciated. As I've read in other such threads, user donation cock-ups may be considered on a case-by-case basis by Crew and/or Cyp, but I've also noticed they have plenty of random players tagging them with unfounded expectations as it is, and even players hunting them from one website to another.

Cyp has stated he will not be considering donor transfers for any reason, but I might be able to help you get your $25 perks back if you've been downgraded to $10. Can you provide the transaction IDs for your previous donations?

Thankfully, I wasn't downgraded and didn't lose any perms. Buycraft just shrugged it off without so much as sending me a receipt. (Good thing the money goes directly into Cyp's account!)

If a transfer is totally not gonna happen, this can be locked and archived.

    Thanks for the reply!

Alright, let me know if you decide to upgrade to $50 in the future and we might be able to work out getting credit for your extra $10!
