How did you get your mc name and what does it mean?

Yes, this isnt the original thread but Im curious how you guys get your name. Its been awhile since Ive seen a thread like this but I thought Ill start another one because it's been a couple of months since the last thread was used. Well I'll start off how I got my mc name:

Here is "some" of my account/s history (dont blame yourself if dont read it I just liked writing)

My ign is Laura_or_is_it, I got the name because before I was promoted to trial mod I was known as [Highroller] Laura. Due to me being a tmod I had to change my name back to my ign name which was nothing to do with my nick, laura. No one new me by the name and didnt know who I once was because my name when seen suggested no gender of what I am and everyone assummed I was a guy.

Well, months later I was at a 5 years old birthday party, they had a buncy castle full of young children. My dad made a bet if I got onto it ill get $50, I completed it but instead he said he'll buy me another mc account so I can have my own. Originally my old account was shared by 3 people including myself, partly the reason why I wanted one of my own was because my sister got pissed off being called Laura by countless amounts of people on .net. So when I got my new account I got everything tranferred including my ranks etc.

This is the last paragraph guys, if you read it all good job lol I don't expect you too.

The "Laura" part of my name was there so I could have my nick laura in chat once again and the "or_is_it" was added so in chat theyll see me as "Laura" but ingame itll be "Laura_or_is_it" I liked the name because if not it would of been Laura1234543212 (I use this as my account name for nearly everything, originally was my moshi monster account name) or Laura98501 because the "98501" came from my old mathletics account.

I got my name from xBox. I started out playing a ton of CoD and then eventually got a mic and started to talk to people. I got used to being called "Abrupt" or "Balloon"so I decided that AbruptBalloon1 would become my new name. I use it basically for everything. But before I got the Abrupt account, I played as SHERMANATOR8239, but then later, I finnally got my own account and named it AbruptBalloon1. Sherm is now my cousins account. And Luckily, if i start to hate the name "Abrupt" I still have my 1 time free name change on xbox :3

 

I played league, and my friend always played as Jarvan 4. We all called Jarvan "J4" for short. So I made the first two letters in my name J4 and I needed more to meet the character requirement so I added ZU because it looked nice.

 

Zambi is what I call zombies, Zambiana was the album name of the first mixtape I was going to release. Really story, maybe later.

 

My sisters calls zombies, zambies too lol.
Whenever I see your name shortened to zambi, i think of the disney movie "Bambi" xD

 

Mine is from my Roblox Account, FromLegoUniverse, which I made 2 months after the MMO Lego Universe closed.

 

When I made a yt account I named it larrythebird101, 101 is just random so it looks cool, from the Larry the talking bird app. Got my minecraft account, didn't know what to name it so I made it the same name as my Yt. Dats all.

 

I used to play CoD Zombies a lot, and eventually became decent at it.
Jokata is a combo of my name and last name. The Z is what is above and stands for "Zombie"
So basically, Jokata_Zombie.

 

Well, originally my name here was Blacksjam, and that's also the name of my IGN. The origin of Blacksjam is a combination of my 9 letter last name and my favorite color Black. And the result was Blacksjam. (Pronounced Black-SAM!!!) Eventually I got bored of my name and at the time my skin was always being changed to a series of red slimes due to bordom and I liked to have a matching name so then came TheRedSlime! (And as for the random TRS's at the end of TheRedSlime it stands for TheRedSlime)

 

North did you see my chicken pet?? it was named xsoutheaglex as a joke, on idea he was one of your friends.

 

Admired this person on the flip book thing on DS called Sukia.

Went to make a minecraft account called Suika because I didn't know how to spell it.

Suika was taken.

 

I like Neon colored signs and Blaze is one the coolest mobs in minecraft. Plus I was born on the 2nd so ya...

EDIT: There's actually a huge difference. Whereas you told the story of going from your nick to your username, I told the entire story of my handle from conception to putting it into effect.

 

Lol you should see my skype name then xD it has a string of 10 numbers after it. At least randoms cant find me lol
