Hoppers are very useful for Redstone as you know, but they are currently disabled. Hoppers will help payments system and advanced farmings. -Ex: Skin comp payments can be stolen by others and clear lagged. Create an automatic farm. Extended trade shop. Redstone.
support. Hoppers are more effective than simply using a river of water to collect and move items. plus, kinda difficult to have an auto-mob grinder without them...
There are issue with hoppers, like duping items. I think after they fix this patch up, It should be back

I will forgive you as you are a new user but please read the current suggestion threads and discussions before creating a new thread. There is a reason they are disabled and a user who had notified the admin of a fix. Now it is just a matter of waiting.
