[Global] Monthly Drop Parties

Hello,
You know in the past there were drop parties here, why not bring them back? It will bring more players to the community and it is easy for CypriotMerks and Noobcrew to make one.
Organization of drop parties:
Cyp or Crew make a thread where they specify the date and the time of the drop party and items that will be dropped. This is for .NET and .ORG.
Let me know what are your thoughts about this.

Yes How ever last i heard this conflicted with some other plugin and was removed due to lag

I agree with everyone,

 

No support. There would be more things in the community and people would be rich while all the prices will get bumped up and all the no ranks or new people, cannot buy items since they could turn to be expensive. I think a monthly drop party is too much, the 3 holiday drop parties are just fine, so there is no need for a monthly one. This can ruin the economy since of all the items/rares they can drop can affect the prices of items. 3 drop parties a year is fine, we do not need more.

The prices wont get bumped up just because there is a lot of overly rare items...They'll decrease gradually cause there is more supply to meet the demand..

Personally I do agree on that a montly dp is too much..maybe a dp every 2 months is fine?

 

Not really. Lets say he drops 1 noobcrew head every month, that would totally destroy our economy. Prices will be bumped up from other players owning so much, and it would just ruin our economy. Having a drop party every month is not a good idea since items can affect our economy that are rare or just commonly rare. 3 drop parties a year is fine, you should be happy Cyp is even doing 3 drop parties a year, I don't think he is going to do more than that.

 

I guess you do have a point on that too many dp can ruin the economy but still if there is more items the prices will be decreased because there is more supply. I think quartely dp are fine (including holiday ones) cause when there is a holiday, most people will travel and not be on, so if there is a dp, most people will miss it which is sort of unfair for people who weren't online (which is like the majority)

 

That is true, but it is the person's decision if they can go to the holiday drop party or not. If there is a drop party every month, the same person can get rare like that. They would probably get rich and they can change the amount of how much an item is. If someone got diamonds from the monthly drop party and they buy a beacons from more than it is, that can change the price of it. Or if they drop heads, that can also change the price of the heads since there would be more running in the economy. I don't think Cyp and Noobcrew are going to do a drop party every month since 3 drop parties a year is fine. Remember, be grateful that they are doing 3 holiday drop parties each year and not none.

 

Support if the items aren't too rare~ otherwise just wait for the festive ones
