Okay, heres how this is gonna go down. I'm gonna tell you some of my personal tips and tricks on how to be wealthy for free and your gonna sit there and absorb the knowledge that I will bestow upon thee. Any prices referred to are the average selling and buying amounts to the DATE of the publishing of this thread. Prices are not fixated and they change all the time. First and foremost these tricks are not 100% guaranteed to make you rich within the game. Do not come crying to me if your still lying in the streets wallowing in sadness . 1) Buy Low Sell High Before we get started with this one, there is an ENORMOUS difference between BLSH and scamming. (I do not in any shape or form condone scamming or anything of the likes). Just had to get that out of the way. Buy Low Sell High or as I like to call it BLSH, is the art of quite simply buying something that is offered at a lower market price and sell it back out at a higher value and hope that a schmuck will buy it and you walk away with a nice profit. A few good ways to BLSH is look around for someone selling a spawner for example 2 diamonds. You can easily purchase it and sell it for 3 diamonds and have a nice 1 diamond profit. Also an important note, NEVER get caught up in a bidding war. Bids often start at a ludicrously low price to entice you into buying it but everyone thinks this way. You can often end up looking to buy say a set of diamond armour for 22 diamonds and end up spending 55 because you let your instincts get the better of you. Go sit outside and think about what you've done! 2) Mass Producing Something to write down in your notebook about Mass Producing is to Mass Produce the RIGHT things that people are interested in. One of the best things to mass produce is Stone and it's dead simple to do. You sacrifice some hours into building a stone gen, sacrifice some more mining the stone, Fill up a double chest of it and sell it for a shiny new diamond. Now isn't that amazing . Other well paying Mass Produced items are Oak Wood Double Chests (1-3 Diamonds), Cobble Double Chests (1 Diamond), Bonemeal Double Chests (1 Diamond), 2 Sugarcane Double Chests (1 Diamond) and many more different ones. 3) Voting and Saving Up The art of saving up can be that of a difficult one. We are constantly faced with buying upon impulse but this tip trains you to save every little penny into a fortune. For this tip you simply vote every day on every related server for extremely long periods of time. Once you have completed your set amount of time of saving up, you can then make trades with other players with the foreign currency. eg,, $5000 skybucks [Org] for 50 diamonds [Net], or 10 Diamonds [Net] for 100 Cobble [HB] etc. (examples not necessarily accurate) 4) Island Selling In order to successfully Island sell, you must first be a competent architect (builder). You have to make a visually appealing island that will make your buyer need your island. Having grass and some sort of direct theme will directly correlate to the value of your island. Beware, I've seen people live a mad skyblock life formed as a nomad due to an obsession to selling and making new islands. Islands sell as well as you make them look. An island with, for example 2 beacons on it at a level 3 stage can sell for a good 70 diamonds. If rares are included they can drastically increase the value of your island. Typically islands sell for 1-20 diamonds. Anything above has an extra perk to it. Terra-Formed islands sell EXTREMELY high because of their natural landscapes and meadows (typically grass). Biome islands sell quite nicely and you will gain a 10 fold profit since the base materials are cheap. Eg,, Nether biome islands [Netherrack = Cheap], Snow Biome Islands [Snow = Cheap]. 5) Drop Parties Attending drop parties regularly may not be an easy task but it can be oh so rewarding. Don't bother attending drop parties that greenbeans host because they throw down worthless items most of the time. Donor drop parties should be regularly attended because they have decent if not useful currency and items. 100 donor + Skygod drop parties should be attended 100% of the time. They will drop diamonds, quartz, iron, grass, gold and sometimes spawners. If you can manage to nab a few diamonds from one of these (highly unlikely due to the ratio of donors to greenbeans [20:270]) with a few diamonds, you walk away a happy person. Making the right friends? Are you telling us that we should take advantage of rich people and entice them to be our friends?
No i'm not. I'm saying make friends with generous people and LEARN how they got wealthy. Not use them for their wealth.
No it's not. This is how you can become wealthy. Listing the qualities of a good person to make friends with is irrelevant on this thread.
I may have got many off my riches from friends, but what is most rewarding about skyblock is my friends and talking to people. Having a rare does not make be nearly as happy as I am talking to my friends. Of course I believe you should remove the first point. Heres the issues i have with the first point. "If you're looking to get some cash, be prepared to stand on top of others to make your way to the top k?" When you stand on top of others to get rich, it implies disrespect to those who are generous and using a person for their possessions and material wealth rather than wealth of knowledge. We can be generous and give away rares, but we should always remember to be respectful to each other in the process. If someone gives you a rare, making you richer than them, you dont go out and brag, you dont walk on top of them. This is a game so have fun rather than worry about competing with people for the most rare and expensive items. Promote friendliness not competition. "Drop a few of "Do you have any ___"" Asking a rich people for stuff. This is where people are getting the whole "making rich friends for their wealth" argument stems from. Because while its ok to ask how one got an item, asking for the item wont get you it, and especially with diamonds its an annoyance. I get asked 10 times a day whether i can give diamonds, spawners, iron, rares and more. They say ask and you shall receive, but this is skyblock. We shouldnt promote begging for rares. Asking someone do you have any may also create guilt for the rich person who may eventually give in. Then you walk away happy when that person has to re-get the diamond they lost. Trust me saying no gets me all kind of questions, now i just lie about my rares. Please change the first point.
To be honest, i dont care if im rich or not, if i has dias i have dias the only this i care about is the server and how it runs, its a server not a get rich quick survey xD
this wont get pinned because wealth isnt important. players make the choice to try and get rich usually
Go to donator100 and skygod dropparties - I agree. I do one atleast every 5 months dropping around 10 diamonds and few stacks of grass and iron. (Just a tip. Another tip: Do not spam /list for me, I'm on often just I hardly ever talk). ( I do not care about items or anything, I just like to look at chat and give non donors items if they are nice and really need them ) Well, I might as well prepare for spam now.
