Opener: I have said many times that I probably would never try to run for mod again or anything along those lines and have said things about the current staff team (Things I regret, unless the mod themselves agreed with me). I wish to run for mod just the same as I feel as though there is still more that I can do to help the server. If you wish to know more about me, you can always check out my intro - Stimulate Your Senses | Skyblock Forums . Now let's get into this. FIGHT4GLORY'S MOD APPLICATION Your in-game name: Fight4Glory What timezone are you in? Eastern Standard Time (Currently UTC -4:00, but other times - 5:00) What country do you live in? The United States of America What languages do you speak? I fluently speak American English and type that was as well, have learned the basics of communication for German in the past and I am a Spanish II student Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No Yes Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) Yes, I have Bandicam for longer things, Gyazo and Gyazo Gif for shorter things Why do you think you should become a mod? I think that I should become a mod for a multitude of reasons that I'll go ahead and list below. Experience I have been a mod under this administration twice. During late December of last year, I was promoted to a NET Trial Mod. I spent a good 2 months maybe as a Trial Mod on here, before thinking that I had too much school work to balance with this server, so I moved to .Org. That lasted about a day before I resigned completely. I regretted my decision pretty soon after and asked for position back as an Org moderator. I then held a position as an Org moderator for about a month before wanting to quit Skyblock completely. During this time, I gained tons of experience and learned a lot from staff members who "mentored" me. I'd consider those to be Krissy, SakuraWolf, Kerahna, Jennie and PurpleVillager1. People Skills I have an uncanny ability to communicate with people pretty well. Because of this, I can normally hold a conversation with just about anybody. I've also read a few of books on conflict resolution and everyday communication, which, of course, doesn't make me an expert, but doesn't hurt and I believe helps me everyday. Having these people skills also means I know how to keep patient while dealing with someone. Knowledge of the Community I've been playing on this server for a long time, and I've gotten to know a great deal of people during that time. This can help me with connecting things with certain people and to just help someone become more accustomed to the community. I also know most price ranges for rares or other in game items and can help someone with selling something for the right price. Respectful This ties back into the people skills section above, but I'm very respectful to the players on the server. People can be extremely rude and annoying, but that's when being respectful matters the most. The better you treat them, the more that can be accomplished. With respect, I can appear more professional and make the server look much better. Forums Knowledge I know how these forums work and how to moderate them. I've spent some time working as an admin for another forums and learned the details of add-ons and how they work. Along with this, I see the forums as just as important as in game, as things that cannot be done simply in game can be accomplished on the forums. Leadership I've always been told that I have the mindset of a leader. I'm able to get a group of people to focus upon one thing and get something done and when I can sit back--as a leader--and let them figure things out. You may question that last sentence, but I honestly believe that if I were to guide people to every conclusion they make, they won't learn and will do the same thing again and come to me for help again. I've also attended a leadership camp before, which helps. How long can you be active on the server everyday? This really depends on my homework amount. The more homework, the less time in game. I should be able to give about 1 hour a day, but that can go up to many more if homework is few and far between and I have time, but if not, I may only get in about 30 minutes. I should have plenty of time for the forums throughout the day and when I get home though. Checking sporadically through the day and then checking at night every once in a while. How long have you been playing Skyblock? I have been playing on and off since late 2012, so almost 4 years. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) I have never been banned on the forums, but have requested a few bans in game and had one false ban in the past. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have had experience moderating both net and org here. View the section "Experience" for more detail on that. I have held staff positions on other servers in the past, but they were minor and not much to talk about. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No Yes I said in the past that if I ever applied again, I'd apply for org, so you may be wondering why I am here applying for net instead of org. Org has started to bore me a bit and net has more players, so more social interactions. Org also doesn't really need much help with their staff right now. As I'm just starting to become active again, you may also have not caught me in-game yet. If so, feel free to PM me and say hi! Please leave feedback below and I hope that I can work to improve!
You got first page at least, right? You may want to read it anyways, but thanks for the support! Anything I can work on?
Yeah I read through it now. Very well written as your other accepted ones are. The one thing that I would like you to work on is activity. Just make sure you're getting on each day if you can and stuff. And yes at least I got first page
Yea, I'm working on that. Just recently decided I wanted to go for mod again and be active once again.
Ooh! Going to be the greatest Myrm review since Wade's That was so fu*king hilarious Anyways Mr. Fight: Ken Bone (Me): What would you do to help our economy c:
Well I don't think that a moderator's job in particular is to help the economy, but if I am able to help people with prices, it might make our economy a bit more balanced. What would you say I might do to help the economy?
Neutral. You have everything great, just try helping out more and being more active on forums and the server itself.
I'm going to say neutral for now. -You have a good application -You meet the requirements -I don't see you help out much -Not sure if I see you online much either (We are in the same time zone) I may change my support status in the near future. Good luck.
