dropped sword, someone picked up and logged off

hi there i was in /warp mob about 10 mins before the midnight reset. i went to drop unwanted items and accidentally dropped my diam sword. another person ran up and managed to get it before i could. then logged off and has been avoiding me since and always logs off as soon as i msg him. unfortunately i don't have any proof of owning the sword ot the accidental drop. i do have the "perpetrators" IGN. which i can give in a private msg. is there anything able to be done or am i entirely out of luck.

 

You'll want to put this in the reports section. You may need to provide proof that you owned it. The only downside is there is no log data for dropped items and it was you who dropped it, so technically you are responsible as it is not a sever caused issue. This happens all the time in warp mob and I have accidently tossed diamond stuff many times, I tend to say whoever picked it up your welcome and I don't worry about it. But again if you feel like you should report it do so and see where it goes from there.

thanks for the replies guys. its only an inconvenience. a lil dirty handed but overall not awfull. thanks for the offer cuzy but i have the resources to re-make one, just didnt want to have to. i didnt think there was much that could be done since i still dropped it lol. guess you cant expect everyone on the server to be as honest as the majority.
