Donor Ranks on the forums!

I know what your thinking. Just the same old same person who thinks when someone donates their donor rank will automatically be put on the forums. But your wrong!

I surfaced the idea while on a forums (that shall remain nameless) had people donate to ether change their name color or get a "Premium" prefix. They also have the option of changing they're own profile title. But that could cause a conflict because of people changing the title to "Moderator". Now I'm not very good at managing xenforo so I don't know if certain titles could be disabled.

Now this isn't automatic so Cypriotmerks or whoever is the admin at the time would have to manually add it in. Even so I think this is a great way for the forum members to contribute to the hard work that has been made on here

 

So you want a kinda Cyp/Zambi/Noob Prefix change thing on the forums for donors?

This would take ALOT of time for every donor to have a manual change and to provide proof of donorship.

No support. It would take a long time for Cyp, Tanner and Crew to code and apply. It would be different if it was a smaller server, but this server is not. There's thousands of donors and the admins don't have time for it. No support.

 

No support, The server admins don't have the time to add each donor manually. There are many donations and upgrades going on per day and to keep up would be a struggle. This has been suggested in the past and hasn't been put in place mainly because it would be too time consuming.

 

I brought it up with Cypriot at one time. He said it was a good idea. It won't take a while to get it set up, crew him self can do this. I've seen xen forums with donation ranks. They won't have to manually give people donor it's like the buycraft system how they pex you to a donor group. Donation ranks should be separate so if you donated on net you won't get a rank on forums, it's separate.
