I think we should accept donations via Bitcoin (BTC). If you don't know what bitcoin is, it is a crypto-currency and it's value changes a lot. Anyway, this allows anonymous donations to the servers, which I very preferred for people like me.
Money is money, regardless of the form. If you're talking about donations for ranks and stuff then no. But if you're talking about just straight up donations, then why not? Yeah, the value might change from time to time but its basically free money for Cyp and Crew lol.
It you were to buy ranks with bitcoins then they should be more expensive than the regular payment. For example, if I were to buy a 10$ rank with normal money aka credit card/paypal then It would be 10$ But if I were to buy a 10$ Rank with bitcoins it would have to be 15-20$ worth of them. Since the value fluctuates a lot more than the normal dollar. If you were to buy a 10$ Rank with 20$ worth of bitcoins, the extra 10$ worth of bitcoins would be just incase the value of the bitcoin goes down. So the extra 10$ worth would make up for when the value went down. The 10$ Rank and 20$ bitcoins was just an example with example numbers. It could be a 10$ rank for 100$ of bitcoins, or 15, I don't know. I just used the number 20 as an example.
This'll probably never happen. I mean USD changes but bitcoin constantly drops and skyrockets in price. Also a lot of people are very shaky about bitcoin.
I've seen places offer amounts of money BACK to the customer for purchasing with bitcoin. I believe Alienware/Dell does this offer. Bitcoin is a good investment.
