Now that we are paid about every minute, can tax be applied to the earned revenue directly instead of at the end of the tax period? Croppers disabling when you are unable to pay taxes feels like a feature that shouldn't exist, making the game much more confusing for people who don't understand it's mechanics.
That is basically the way it works IRL. Each time we are paid, the tax is already removed. Of course IRL we don’t know how much we will be paid by the end of the year and we don’t know what deductions/expenses/donations we will claim so at the end of the tax year there is an adjustment in which we will usually get a refund. SB ‘tax’ is far simpler in that it only looks at income without accounting for upfront expenses etc. As the final tax is known as soon as the income is known, there is no reason at all to essentially over pay and then have to take back the tax afterwards.
You've been bankrupted -(maybe someone sold out a certain shop temporarily bankrupting you, right before tax is due).. ..So we've decided to stop your income entirely.. leading to even more bankruptcy.. I can see how that is helpful.. not lol. Sometimes I've had no money whilst not even on the server due to players buying me out selling to some of my shops, ive joined economy from survival to afk my croppers for a while without knowing they've been disabled completely. Also, knowing when tax is due would be helpful to be able to sell some emergency stocks to ensure we can pay tax would be very helpful. 5 minute tax warning lol as an idea.
