No. You are free to create a portal, but the nether is disabled here.

For nether mobs, you can go to /warp mob, or buy mob spawners for your island.

Nether blocks, such as netherrack, glowstone or quartz are all available from places such as /warp trade, /warp grass and /warp donor.
