Preface: As you may be aware, I had recently quit Skyblock to focus on my studies. I would like to inform you all that my current studies, Business and Science will be ending soon. These were very important me as I had to pull a 75%+ above to pass Science and I am currently above average so I'm happy. I have been recently active on Skyblock and I know my activity isn't the best and I'm always applying and end up withdrawing or deleting my application, if given the chance, I can prove myself to be active and not frequently closing. I plan to keep being active as the courses ahead will not be as hard for me except Mathematics but I believe I can maintain myself as I have now. You can see frequently me on Economy and I pop on Survival but I plan to increase activity there. Let's continue with my application, thank you. TEMPLATE: Your in-game and discord tag: My in-game name is BobaLatte. My discord tag is boba#8778. What time zone are you in? EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) Can you speak any additional languages? French (Fluently able to speak, understand and write). Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? I have Gyazo, the standard Minecraft Screenshot control, QuickTime Player and my laptop's manual command to take screenshots. How long can you be active on our platforms everyday? I can be active within the day for a full 2-4 hours. It doesn't seem like much but I can surely be active when necessary. I am always active on Forums and Discord. When did you first join Skyblock? December 2018. Have you ever been banned on any platform? No. Do you have any past moderation experience? I've managed a Discord Server with over 1000 members. My highest staff role there was Administrator. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes. Why do you think you should become a staff member? Helpful: Despite the fact my activity has only started to increase, I've always been helpful to members of our community. I am frequently helping out in Discord Help Channels, direct messages, openly whenever a questions pops up and/or whenever approached. I engage in help threads and report posts frequently on the Forums. This shows that I am aware when a post may be breaking a rule and shows that I'm aware of the server's rules & code of conduct. Active: I cannot say I am fully active yet however I feel like my activity is good enough as to be a staff member. I am frequently active at points and I can pop on if needed. I am not always available as I have a life too but I will always try my best to be active. My Discord Activity is decent as I'm frequently having conversations with members and helping out. I am always on Forums and available to help out. I engage in threads and am around. Polite: I am always polite to every player. I never come off as rude and I'm always speaking in a polite tone. Personally, this is a very good trait because new members are sometimes intimidated and scared of staff and a polite, comforting tone when speaking to them is a great way to make them feel welcomed and delighted. This is why I like to use words like please, thank you and try not to use that much "slang" when helping. In general conversations, I use abbreviations but avoid them when I'm professional. Professional: As I've stated above. I know when to be myself (funny, goofy) and when to be professional (clear, mature). We are not workers in an office but maturity matters. A staff should not be silly when helping and should act mature. This quality is in me and others have seen it before. Professionalism is a key factor a staff member should have. It's very important and you should always know when you should be silly and when you should be mature. Understanding: The last factor about myself which I'm going to be writing about is my understanding. I know that I should be strict when I'm dealing with players but I can show understanding. If a new player breaks a rule, I know whether they're being honest by the way they would write an appeal and if I'm handling it, I know that this was an honest mistake. We all make mistakes and we should be given another chance to clear ourselves. We're never perfect and we can't be but our mistakes is what makes us human. I can tell when a mistake was made and when someone purposely repeats an action. Patient: Being a staff member, you will have to handle different people. You will have some that cooperate and some who don't. As a staff member, you should be patient, friendly and calm. You cannot be rude or shout at them. Carrying this trait myself, I am well aware of how to handle different groups of people. With this being said, I conclude my list of traits. - I may not get a lot of supports this time, and I'm fine with it. I would love some great feedback and I'm fine with 50 neutrals. As long as I receive feedback to improve, I'll be happy and take that feedback into consideration and implement it. If you leave a no support or neutral, please let me know why, it'd greatly be appreciated. Thank you for reading my application, I'm excited to see what responses I receive!
