Armor stands dissaprearing

So at one of my shops I had two fully equipped armor stands as mannequin (hence for decoration) behind the display windows. They dissapeared.

I have others on top of my cathedral as statues. They are still there.

Is there a glitch that made them dissapear? Have they been C-lagged, but then why are the others still there? Or have they been stolen, although I have no coops and noone trusted? Also, not a signle armour stand has been placed on a slab. They are all on at least two opaque blocks.

It's not about a refund, I don't care. It's just that I need to know if it's worthwile putting back that decoration and if yes, what do I need to take for preventive measures.

 

If your island wasn't locked, players can come and steal your armor + armor stands. It's not very fun to loose items but it can't be fixed (putting in a glass cage doesn't work because of ender pearls and /jump).

 

Could it be the same with items frames? Because on dissapeared also at the very beginning, some time ago...

 

yes, item frames can be stolen too.

Also if you are riding the mine cart and its moving, and then clear lag clears all entities the minecart wont get cleared

What type of armor did you have?

 

It was leather looted from mob, so I don't care much.

Banners are not affected?

 

No, banners are protected by core protect (or whatever :3 )
