It would be nice to have a few dedicated trade warps we can conduct business in. /warp trade1-30 for example.

There should be a better system in place when trading like an actual plugin of some kind or an actual building where we can physically trade the items. I prefer a plugin.

I liked the trade they had a while ago where both players had to agree on the items they were trading and they didn't have to physically drop the item to the other person. I don't know why they got rid of it though.

That works great on servers we've used that implement it.

Some may say its not used because some blocks are forbidden from trading. However, attempting to strangle such trades is not solved with either method. Blocks can be tracked, however. If for example noobcrew or a proxy is the owner of all worldspawn, then the db can be queried for all players possessing more than xx items of block yy worldspawn. A player having 200 worldspawn buckets is a candidate for investigation, e.g.

Further, mods could investigate this stuff offline, and even script much of it. Far less time consuming than chasing the obscure new join who is spouting off about trading a bucket in chat.
