The benefits of video games, well where can we begin?

Video Games have come a long way in a short period of time. They've evolved from a collection of pixels shifting across the screen to a high resoultion display to resemble reality or a photographic image. Video Games hold many benefits, they teach us new things, like Minecraft teaches you how to expand your imagination and create what ever your heart and mind tells you to create, to Nancy Drew which takes you through mystery and requires you to solve and sleuth to complete the game. Video games hold a certain beauty, and that is to bring you to a different dimension if you will. The complications, details, outcomes and achievements to be found in Video Games and in the Video Game Industry are stunning and sublime.
Mathematical video games teach us how to use mathematic formulae and when/where to use it. Video Games need to be created, and that's where people come in. Video Games require a lot of planning and expertise to create, therefore we need professional people with talent and heart to put themselves forward and create something extraordinary and get it trending. There's no stopping the creative spark in someone, so when there's an idea, people will build on it and take advantage of it. Video Games get younger and older people involved in the vast and wonderous world of tech, and give us insight and inspiration to create something new or even something better. Without Video Games, we wouldn't have the community, the generation, the talent and the genuity of the gaming world, and we certainly wouldn't have our wonderful SkyBlock server now would we? That is why Video Games are beneficial.

Draft I guess, may change overtime. I like this though, it's a good way to spend my time. :)

Story of my name changes :)

At first I was thebert then I became friends with bertis13 so I declared him BertThe1st and I changed mine to BertThe2nd then he quit shortly which was sad to me. So I changed mine to BertBerry because I really loved that name when I was a low donor rank. Then I got Highroller that my friend got me of course it wasn't for "free". And I nicknamed myself BertBerry which made me very happy because I now have nickname, /fly and all these perks. Because of my boredom I changed it to BertBerrie because why not? Then changed it back to BertBerry again. And from here, my friend TheVirginCallie changed his name to Callie-Fornia, so I decided to copy the idea so I got Bertie-Fornia. Then when I suggested what name I should name my alt that I got from my friend some said BananaBerry so I accepted it but it is never my alt in game name but it was my forums name. Moving on, I met a nice friend named fungamer333 she told me to change it to bertgamer333 as a ship between her and me so I did after a month I believe so? Lastly, I changed it back to BertBerry since because of the berry clan "SophiaBerry, BertBerry and ChibiBerry". Why not? I am planning on changing my name in the future again maybe.

Can Call of Duty get you an A plus?

A study back in 2014 showed that people who play action games, such as Call of Duty and Assassains Creed show a greater capacity to learn than those who didn't play action games. A year later, the results renamed the same. Daphne Bavelier, a research professor at the University of Rochester, said "Prior research by our group and others has shown that action gamers excel at many tasks. In this new study, we show they excel because they are better learners." After playing these games for 50 hours over 9 weeks, researchers found that action gamers still had the same results. Later research showed that the key to their success was that their brains were better able to estimate what various pattern of lines would look like before they appeared and then match to those expectations to what they saw. So if you want to graduate college, play some more Black ops, just stay away from Infinite Warfare, just don't play it.

I did not plagiarize, I threw in some other words and made it my own

If you were to go back one hundred years, there would be major differences. But do you ever realise, that actually, computers has changed the world this much that it's been used by almost four billion people. In 2005, the number of interned users hit one billion. It was legendary. Little did we all know, in 2010 we hit two billion. Computers were rising fast. In four years, we hit three billion. At the time of me writing this, 3,398,291,683 people have used the internet. 6.8 % of the world played in 2000. 8.1 % in 2001, and then in 2004 14.2 %. It's actually quite scary. In 2007 we were at 20.6 %. By 2011 we were at 31.8 %. Present day, 46.1 % of the world use them. 4,007,692,038 out of 7,432,663,275 people so far haven't used a computer. This worries parents, as adults are now on the internet more. In the UK, go into 100 houses and at lest 75 of them will have internet access, if not all. This is really scary. Now onto the actual video game part. You (mostly) need internet to play video games. So along with internet, video games are rising and becoming more and more popular. Games can be educational, too. Video games such as Minecraft can be educational for creativity, and this is VERY important in life. But games aren't all that innocent. Grand theft auto and call of duty have caused deaths all over the world. They have sex, violence and drugs which should not be showed to children. However, if you know the difference between reality and virtual life, you'll probably be OK. If video games weren't here, we'd be really bored. In conclusion, video games are here for the better. I honestly don't know what Noobcrew and CypriotMerks would be like without them, but I'd not have as good as a life I do without them!

    Hope you enjoyed reading jbnorman.

    Writing:

One hundred fifty-five Americans find themselves sitting in front of a television, computer, or phone screen playing simple games, such as Rocket League, CS:GO, or Minecraft. Such numbers used to be the population of the world at one point. Civilians from many years ago could have only imagined what technological advancements humans have created, and it still seems inconceivable. Although roughly 155 million Americans still play video games regularly, many people turn a blind eye to the benefits of video gaming. Three examples of these benefits include better cognitive thinking, promotion of relaxation, and even increase sociability.

A prime example of a benefit of video gaming includes improved thinking ability. With some games, such as first-person shooters, the video games require an intense amount of skill, thinking, and reasoning. According to a recent study from the American Psychological Association, both children and adults who played video games were reported to have better real-life reasoning, navigation, and an improved memory capacity. Other people, especially those who are against video gaming as a whole, often ignore the health benefits of video gaming—even an improved brain capacity for developing adolescents. The ability of better cognitive thinking can be show in academics, sports, and personal lives of each individual, emphasizing the need for video games in a person's life.

Not only do video games improve cognitive ability, but video games can also help relieve stress. Numerous individuals experience a stress overload and need personal time to wind down from his or her hectic day, so some of them go to video games to cure stress. Stress, according to WebMD, can cause multiple health complications, such as mood swings, inability to sleep, nervousness, shaking, nausea, obesity, and sometimes death. A simple activity, whether it be for a short or long period of time, can prevent such symptoms from occurring in a person's body. Individuals experiencing stress can find themselves winding down with a simple activity of video gaming, further proving such reason to promote the playing of video games.

Some might argue that excessive gaming can cause loss of social ability in the real world. However, video games can improve social abilities in developing children, adolescents, and even adults. A video game often has a "chat room" in which people from around the world can communicate with each other privately, instantaneously, and efficiently. Roughly 70 percent of children playing video games often play with another friend through a video game, such as Clash of Clans or Minecraft. This increase of bonding causes children to make decisions on making friends, becoming leaders, and being able to cooperate with others. All benefits of being social are priceless in anybody's life, especially those of children. In reality, video games can increase social ability, not deplete them.

When adults hear the word "video games," the first words that come to mind are not cognitive thinking abilities, relaxing experiences, and improved social skills. People who play video games have a better perception of the world around them and can prove that in multiple areas in life. Video games also help relieve stress in a person's life, as well as increasing sociability. Although 155 million Americans play video games every year, it's no surprise that they are extremely healthy—both emotionally and physically.

    Are video games truely games?

Over the past century, video games are a little hobby for use to kill time when your bored. Over the years has gone by video games has been changed from 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional what we call 3D. Games have a lot of categories, sports, action, arcade, racing and creativity! But let's get back to topic. There's more bad things then benefits when it comes to video games! Well sure theirs benefits, let's take minecraft for example the benefit is you learn how to play a new game, develope a little bit more of your creativity and your strategies to the game for example crafting and redstone mechanisms. But over the time playing too much video games can cause addition, loss of sleep, lose of eye sight for staring on the computer for too long and uncontrollable resistance of the game. But different games have different benefits for this one we will take call of duty for example, as always you can develop your skills on playing it and make up good strategy on each game. But really dose these benefits help you in real life? thats a 50/50 question it will help you if you are trying out to be a cop but not that much, you still have to take time away from the screen and practice shooting in real life too.

But I have to admit video games are fairly addictive to our modern life. Sometimes parents don't understand the fact that video games could also reduce stress and fear. If you play over your limits and your parents get mad at you....well that's something you should deal with yourself. Your own timelimit. Something that may seem surprising to some people is that talking online like in the chat can improve your social skills if it's helpful, Mostly some games have nice people on there they can teach you a thing or two that may help you a lot.

On the bad side, video games has been involved to many horrible incidents and problems. It dosent have a lot of benefits yet, everyone thinks diffrently but there is one waiting for you to be discovered.

    Thanks

Video games are a world-wide loved concept. They're a cartoon version of real life scenarios, make-believe conceptions, and many more. Video games can make your brain rise in gray matter in the right hippocampus, right prefrontal cortex and the cerebellum, which are all areas of your brain that are responsible for spatial navigation, memory formation, strategic planning and fine motor skills in the hands. Video games are loved by thousands, even millions, of people world-wide. Additionally, they also might slow the aging process of a regular human being. Video games are capable of so much more then parents may anticipate, increasing the brain function of a person, or even in just everyday activities. It's impressive how far along video games have come to be able to actually be capable of doing such great things, you never know what great things you might do, discover, or uncover by playing video games.

First, video games can make your brain rise in gray matter in the right hippocampus, right prefrontal cortex and the cerebellum. Those components of the brain are the key areas responsible spatial navigation, memory formation, strategic planning and fine motor skills in the hands. Everyone knows that without spatial navigation, you would have no concept of the direction you are going in, or your surroundings. Without memory formation, you wouldn't have a memory of anything at all. Without the capability to plan strategically, you wouldn't be able to complete any simple everyday activities, and without basic fine motor skills in the hand, you wouldn't be physically able to write, type, touch, or coordinate the movements of your hand. Although you are taught the basic skills necessary using these parts of the brain during school, increasing them by playing video games can widely increase your success chances in any real life scenario, whether it be the head of a major company, or even a journalist, it makes your opportunities endless. Why do parents limit time allowed on video games? The pros of playing them highly outweigh the cons, so it's hard to imagine why parents would do that. Maybe they're just jealous they never got the same opportunity to increase their brain capacity so widely.

Next, video games are loved by thousands, even millions of different people world-wide. There is an estimation of 1.2 billions people world-wide that play video games. Over 68% of the Australian population spend at least 2 hours playing video games a day. There are also high American averages; over 155 millions American gamers, 4 out of 5 households own a device used to play video games and 51% of American households own a dedicated game console. The widely loved pixelated concept is one of the most popular things in the world. With the development of video games, comes the development of the mind, allowing hundreds of more possibilities of success then before-hand. The love for video games has increased dramatically along with the positive side affects. With the knowledge of the virtual world possibilities expand a humans mindset, extending the actual world. Who wouldn't love video games?

Lastly, video games are statistically proven to slow the aging process. Who wants to grow old? Have sore bones? Have the dreaded grey hairs grow? No one. Video games are capable of slowing all of these processes. This is because the brain becomes physically larger and gets increased in certain parts of the brain, generally the thinking, and decision making part of the brain, meaning it works harder and the aging part of the brain isn't given enough time or space to increase, or take time to process and happen. Fascinating isn't it? Video games have endless possibilities. They're simply amazing. Who wouldn't enjoy all the possibilities that come with being an active gamer?

To conclude, video games are one of the most successful sensations in the entire world. They help you encounter endless possibilities and capabilites. They extend the core parts of your brain, and your basic knowledge, allowing you to excel in anything. To call video games a brain-rot is terrible, it's yourself not allowing the fact that something so time-consuming actually does good for a human and the whole existence in general. It's proven that gamers are more likely to discover scientific breakthroughs, as well as develop something highly beneficial for mankind. Video games are one of the most beneficial activities in the entire world, and there's no doubt that the positive outcomes of playing video games will highly increase many aspects of a human.
