1.6.2

As most of you know, 1.6.2 came out recently, and I was just wondering how to get back to 1.6.1.

Click on Edit profile, then choose the version you would like to use

 

Okay thanks, I was messing around with the versions folder, I guess it's easier than that​

 

They Should be updating shortly to 1.6.2 in a couple of days I reckon(I will ask RROD)

 

We have to wait on Spigot and CraftBukkit to update. The teams are always trying their best, hold on tight :3

You can check on the latest development builds of CraftBukkit here, so you know when they're out for 1.6.2. We might not take the first three or so builds until there's something that "looks stable". I don't think it'd be a good idea installing something, only for it to break everything - again. The same goes for Spigot.

Downgrading to 1.6.1 will be way easier with the new launcher now, as mentioned there's a profile option to select what game version you want to play as.

 

Just as annoying because every time that minecraft releases a update the plugins also have to update and they always seem to have error or cause lag for the server

 

Give Mojang time, and they'll have the modding tools "Minecraft Workbench" released
Effectively meaning no more waiting on other developers to decrypt the game.
