Lava death respawn circle over and over....

Hopefully this one is an easy one for you long time players

I am sorry if this is a cross post or does not belong in this forum, I did try a search for key words and was not successful.

I have been playing in SkyBlocks for a few weeks but have been learning by participating in my sons established island.
Today I decided that I would start and island of my own.

I seem to be stuck in an circle of death/respawn..

On join I am taken to my island and evidently fall in lava so die and respawn. It is a never ending circle that tends to take the fun of the game away :confused:

At this point I would prefer if possible to not be associated with my island created today and just go back to being my sons assistant.

Moved to correct section.

It seems that you have placed your lava where you repspawn point is [above your bedrock].
If you want, I can help out with your island for a bit before I have to go.

is there a way to erase my island and return to kids helper?

 

If you want to return to your son's island. He needs to come online and invite you (/coop invite [playername]) to his island. Then, you can accept his invitation by doing /coop accept to join his island.

 

I really sorry it seems that you did assist but perhaps I should have unlocked my island while you were then and I was not ablaze
