Introduction
Hello to all of my fellow Skyblock players. Before I say anything else, I would like to thank all of the people who take their time to read my moderator application and give feedback, whether they support me or not. All of your opinions are gladly appreciated with open arms, for they will help improve my mod app.

About Me
I was born in Texas on November 24th of 2002, meaning I am currently 12 years old and will be turning 13 this year. My parents were born in Cambodia, a very small country in Asia, so I am half American and half Cambodian, with a little bit of Chinese blood in me. I've been playing Minecraft for about four years and Skyblock for about two, so I have a very deep insight about the server/game and how it works.

What is your in-game name?
My in-game name is Blurted.

What is your current time-zone?
I am in the central time zone (UTC-06:00) [USA]

What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Cambodian, but I am currently learning French as of right now.

Have you ever been banned?
Actually, yes, I have been banned before, but this occurred when I was just starting Skyblock and was not aware of the rules of the game. Over time I have matured and haven't been banned since.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
I believe I should be a mod because I would love helping people and helping the growth of this server as time goes on. I want to do my best to keep Skyblock as a friendly community that takes care of all the scammers, griefers, and looters that only mods can get rid of. Besides that, I also have a lot of experience and knowledge about the Skyblock forums and the server itself, which are important factors a moderator should have, as well as the importance of being trustworthy and respectful to others. I think it's time to step forward and help Skyblock grow and thrive. For now, I can only do so much to help the server by monitoring the chat, answering questions, refunding items, etc. Sometimes there are no moderators that are on the server at the moment, which makes it difficult for players who need help that is beyond my power to fix. However, if I were a mod I could finally achieve what I was incapable of doing before.

How long can you be on the server everyday?
Monday 1-2 hours
Tuesday 1-2 hours
Wednesday 1-2 hours
Thursday 1-2 hours
Friday 3-6 hours
Saturday 5-16 hours
Sunday 5-13 hours
(Some of you may not have ever noticed me on the server, but that might be because I used to be a greenie until Setember 12).

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Unfortunately I do not, but I know quite a bit about it from my friend who is a moderator herself on a server.

What good qualities do you have that are beneficial to being a moderator?
Unbiased
I treat others equally regardless of their title (greenie, donor, Skygod) or their relationship with me, whether they are people I'm very close with or people that are complete strangers to me. If someone does not follow a rule, I will not hesitate to ban/temp-ban them. If someone makes an appeal for a ban I did or didn't do, I will take their appeal into consideration. I will not judge or treat them based on their rank, gender, popularity, background, etc.
Trustworthy
I have been griefed and scammed before, so I know what it feels like to be lied to. Never do I trick other people, whether in real life or in-game, because I do not want others to go through the same thing. If I am asked to do a task, I will do it fairly, without lying or cheating in any possible way.
Dedicated/Hardworking
Whenever I am given a job or task to do, I always try my best to complete it and am very relentless when it comes to working. I will not procrastinate or complain, and I will work efficiently and in an organized manner. To me, my work comes before anything else, and being a moderator is not an exception.
Patient
I am always ready to hear someone out when they have a problem and I take the time to address it until it can be fixed. I am never quick to anger and am very good at controlling my emotions so that they don't get in the way of my work.
Kind
Regardless of who they are, I am willing to take other people's problems into concern and help them to the very extent of my abilities. Being a moderator on Skyblock would help even more towards this cause for many reasons.
Reliable
Whenever I make a promise I never break it and will always pay the price if it ever does happen. I think this is one of the most important things a good moderator should have as a quality so that people know to trust you and can look to you for a problem if one ever occurs.

Making the right decisions
I can handle tough and difficult situations, using a calm and friendly manner. I will not show frustration or anger to any players I am dealing with, nor will I ignore calls of help. I know what to do in certain situations, when everyone is depending on me, and I make the right decisions to help ensure the improvement of the community. I can tell right from wrong, and I know when I have to act seriously.

Sociable
I am friendly and interact with many players, both in the forums and in game. Being sociable creates a helpful and positive image, which makes moderators seem more approachable in times of help.

Leadership
I know when and how to take responsibility in situations, and I'm not afraid to step up and act. As a leader, I will work towards making Skyblock a better community, and negotiate with other players to guarantee efficient and productive work.

Influential
I encourage other players to set a good example for the community. As a role model, I believe it is my duty to influence the people who look up to moderators to be helpful and friendly.

I highly doubt you've been here for 2 years. You've only had your forums a month. So it took you over 20 months to sign up fro the forums?

 

Actually yes, because I just got around to making my account when I finally figured out about the forums page.

Cons/opinions/suggestions~
This doesn't affect anything just remember that. How were you not told about the forums in those 2 years?
I haven't seen you online the server yet, however I look forward to meeting you! (Maybe timezones).
Be a bit more helpful on the forums.

This is a very nice application but I cannot judge those qualifications seeing as I don't know you much.
