    All you need to do is place some sort of door-like object on the beacon, place a sign on the beacon, and type [Private]. After that break the door-like object (door, trapdoor, or gate) and your beacon is now privated. However other players can still edit what the effect of the beacon is.

    I'm predicting that when. Et get chest shops that they will function like orgs. You can use a chest shop to lock beacons etc. Otherwise, no support, take your own measures to secure your items with the limitations

    I tried a method the other day that worked, but I didn't try it on beacons.
    So, you place a sign on a beacon with a gate on top of it. It says
    Code:
    [ Private ]
Lycel
    You're like 'O noes! There's a space!'
    Well I'm pretty sure this works.

    Place your beacon.
    Place a fence gate on top of the beacon.
    Place a sign on the beacon, reading
    Code:
    [Private]
USERNAME
.
    The full stop on the last line is vital. (It will dissapear when you finish the sign)

    It should be locketted now, someone tell me if this works for them too :3 :heart:
