So, I just finished watching Death Note.

Probably one of the most enjoyable series I've seen, up until where he

.
After that it got a bit slow. Not really bad, tbh.
The ending ruined it completely, giving me the feeling that they absolutely had to make that twist.
It just made me feel like I wasted all my time lol.

Anyone know of a series that is similar, but doesn't f*** it up the way they did? lol
The genre I grabbed from Wikipedia of Death Note;

• Detective fiction
• Psychological thriller
• Supernatural fiction

Oh, and preferably, something that doesn't end so cheesy

 

Dystopia, Crime fiction, Cyberpunk

haven't watched it, but Monster is one. the genres are 'Mystery, Psychological horror, Psychological thriller'

and there's also Mirai Nikki, not sure if you'll like it though

Yeah, Death Note was great until that point.
I know some psychological horror/thriller animes, although I'm not too sure if you'll like them. They're not too similar to Death Note.

Oh also, there's a ton of good manga on This Website
You should really check out the thrillers, 'Bastard', and 'Distant Sky' are really good.
(They're not finished yet, they update weekly)

 

I've finished this series: Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu Episode 1

I found it very enjoyable and interesting, to say the least. So hopefully that can narrow it down, when it comes to other series, should you still want to help me find similar ones.
I've read through the other comments and got some suggestions, all seem pretty accurate to my liking.

I still appreciate more suggestions though

 

After ep. 25, things just went downhill tbh. The ending was disappointing. But Death Note is still my favorite series bc L is my babe.

Try watching Code Geass. I think it was mentioned before but nonetheless, it's pretty good.
