Apple is made for graphical artists, not gamers.

Even then it's way overpriced just for a different OS and a fancy logo.

The OS also isn't compatible with a lot of things, too.

    Better to start early?
    lmao
I just cannot ever justify spending that much for a computer for what I do on it. I'd be about to buy it and just cringe away and start running.
learn the value of money early. Where did you even get the money for a new computer?

    Well best of luck.
I personally would build one if money was no matter, because I'd like to challenge myself, some of them look hella cool, and you could brag about it.

What are you on about. Prebuilt is totally fine if you do your research. I got a Hp with:
    i7-4790k processor
    Gtx geforce 970 4 Gb
    16 gb ddr3 ram
    1 Tb HDD
    256 SDD
Don't remember the name of the motherboard, but it has room to be expanded to 32 Gb
This is like the most popular combination of parts, and I got mine prebuilt for 850 bucks. If you bought all the parts yourself it would cost about 1200.

So, do you think a prebuilt Minion Ultra by Ironside Computers would be better than my Alienware laptop? Graphics card is a EVGA GTX 960 ACX 2.0 2GB

That's a major loss for that business. I sincerely doubt it cost you 850 bucks. If it did, you're extremely lucky.

Microcenter Open box price. Some idiot bought it it for 1100, beat it up it a bit then returned it. It has like 3 scratches on it, but no damage to the hardware. What are you even disagreeing with me about, I just said a fact xD.
I looked up the specs for the Minion ultra, and it's pretty decent. I would recommend 16gb ram, but it's not the end of the world. If you are only going to be running minecraft, the 960 should be good for your purposes. Unless you were running Gta on like ultra settings I doubt you would need the 970.
Edit: I also forgot to mention this. If you have a microcenter in your area go look there. They have incredible deals, like mine the open box, and many times they are just cheaper than amazon.
Like that Processor rycbar124 listed the i7 4790k it's 50 bucks cheaper at microcenter, and the gtx 970 is about 40 bucks cheaper at microcenter as well.

Would recommend spending a little less on something else (maybe the monitor?) and upgrading to a 16gb kit.

    edit:
    Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5GHz Socket LGA 1150 Boxed Processor BX80646I74770K - Micro Center
Processor could downgrade to a 4770k (still a very good haswell cpu) and upgrade to a 16gb kit. Might have enough money for peripherals aswell.

You should do some research before deciding what to buy.

I haven't decided and I have researched you can't see my history. On that thought, you don't want to.
