So on July 23, 2015. A player known as TheSkyGod cried out for a mod to help him. Unfortunately there weren't any on so i took action. I asked what was wrong and he says that a player known has henrikkloh had scammed him of 12 grass, diamond pickaxe, ender pearls, and another item. I then tried to scare the scammer but he ignored me. So since there was no visual proof of this scam to prove it actually happened (which it did since henrikkloh admitted later off recording) i took action to help TheSkyGod in any way i could. I gave him a few of the items he was scammed of. I did this because at one point i was scammed of so much, but it was back when i didn't have a recording software. It's just sad that everyone expects for only for the mods or admins to help those in need. Rank or no rank. Mod or no mod. Admin or no admin. EVERYONE should be obliged to help other players in the community. We are all in a community together but what is it if everyone is just selfish to not help. (NOTE: This is not to offend anyone but rather to inspire some to help out themselves.) If you ever see anyone in need at least ask how you can help and what's wrong. My name is Jacob or my IGN is JulioJones and this is the video of me helping out a scammed player.

It's great that you are helping out; don't worry about being called "a mini-mod". In the end, it's you who is making a real difference, not the critics. Thank you.

I just want to clarify what being a "mini-mod" actually means. Mini-modding doesn't mean answering a question for someone when they ask or giving out items when someone can't get a refund. Mini-modding means acting like you are already a mod in that you have power over others, when in actuality you're just a player. You go out of your way to enforce rules that aren't even enforced that strictly by the staff themselves. You make up rules that you think should be punishable.

Thanks for doing this. I always tried to do this because I knew how terrible I felt in that situation (not scammed, but lost 2 dragon eggs to server glitches). I know that the people here are just trying to have a fun time and sometimes it's worth sacrificing some of your own time to help someone else, even if there isn't "hard evidence."

There's a fine line between mini-mod tryhard and viable moderator applicant.

I really don't care about any kind of title. Everyone should help without expecting anything in return. Thanks.

Sorry for all the mini-mod discussion. ;c
    That's also another thing:
Those who help without expecting reward are the ones most deserving of it.

I have seen plenty of people, some of them current mods, called "mini-mods".

Well though I do agree, there are two things I have to say to this. One, mods can't do anything without proof. Two, though players can be scammed, it doesn't mean we HAVE to help, but the better ones do help. Me for example, I am one of the richer greenies, so I don't mind giving some refunds back if I have the material, but it isn't expected of us to do this.

Its nice to try to help out, but its still best to make sure you dont get scammed as the expression go's. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
