Help - - - I have been griefed

I don't see a format for apply for help so i guess I'll just type away?
Okay so I haven't been on since December 2014 (I know a long time but when college starts i stop playing games) I've been playing minecraft again since its my summer break and I have returned to find my poor island griefed :L There was no staff on at the time (except one Mod who ignored my request for help) so I have decided to immediately come here to report this (I apologize if I'm suppose to report this somewhere else, again not sure). So yeah, My ingame name is also SamuraiLadyRonin, and I need help with my island being griefed. I just hope someone actually responds and not just ignores my plea cause I love the server, and miss it quite frankly but being griefed is irritating enough as it is; being ignored is another kind of disappointment. :L

Do you have any proof? Moderators can't do anything without evidence/screenshots. If we had logblock our awesome moderators could find out, but unfortunately we don't. Is this for .org or .net? Do you have any coop members? Any /trust'ed people?

Well I mean if staff tp to my island they would see blocks missing and lava everywhere and an obvious bridge to my island so it's clear someone mesed with my island but I haven't the faintest idea who and wasn't on at the time so i don't have proof of anyone destroying the blocks because again, i just logged on and everything was already destroyed :L

No I do not have any co op members or anyone who has ever visited my island

Finally at the very least I guess I'd just like it if a staff member removed the bridge so I don't accidentally get banned (that happened to me once already) and my chest are still in place and while my farms and animals are dead / destroyed they can be replaced buy buying them again (at least I hope i can replace them) so I'm not here to beg for stuff i just want a little staff help and report that someone near me did greif.

 

What items were destroyed or griefed, I might be able to get on and try refunding you soon!

Oh goodness I have no idea, they just destroyed random cobble and wood blocks mainly. So im not too upset because of that. From the looks of it my farm and replacing the animals are the main thing.

Hey btw, as a sidenote question: last year there use to be a warp um i can't even remember it - warp arena i think? You would warp there chose a class and with a group of people fight mobs in an arena? Is that back? Because i loved that warped since it gave decent rewards. EDIT: /Ma j that's what it was! I already answered my own question and really hope this comes back (if it hasn't yet)

 

Oh - I have also realized i had and enderchest and that is missing and I dont even remember what I had in it. But all my chest were locked with the sign on it so everything in them are untouched and luckily i saved extra farm supplies and so on so I think I am fine but I will wait until a Admin or any staff see my island and destroy the bridge before I do anything and before I start making repairs.

I've noticed there's now a /lock to lock one's island and when I make repairs I will be sure to use it - this new feature hopefully will prevent anymore griefing.

 

From what I understand, mods can't break blocks (temporarily). So it could be awhile before the bridge is removed.

Have you thought of starting fresh and anew? I will offer you this:
If you see me in-game, I can add you to my coop. Then I will immediately kick you from it. By doing this, when you start a new island, it will be at a new location.
If you were to /newisland replace, it will be at the same location with the bridge looming nearby.
If you choose to do this, I will also give you some stacks of cobble/wood, an enderchest and ask one of my Skygod friends to spawn in animals for you.

I only wish that when i logged in the server there was a mod or staff to say it - now the server seems constantly flooded with advertising that mods are either ignoring me or chat moves so fast they genuinely aren't seeing my messages. I really hope the server hasn't gone down the tubes in just a few months.

 

I don't know why anybody bothers greifing, and trolling other people's island.

 

Without evidence, nothing can be done. If you do have evidence, make sure to report it in the reports section of the forums.
