Anyone Know of a Chat Client?

Hello,

I have seen people log into the chat with Apple products from an app, but I still prefer a keyboard over my iPhone.

Does anyone know of a good chat client that works with MineCraft for PC? I am looking for something that keeps chat history for entire session so I can reference back to what I miss if I step away from my PC.

pretty sure there's a way to check chat using the launcher or something...

 

The console only shows the last 100 messages. At the rate the chat goes on the server, that is hardly enough!

I did use one before as server owner, up try thinking about what it was called.

Are you referring to the server command prompt? I used that when I had my baby server on my machine.

 

Nah, something I used while I was on a one week vacation console works, but it s one unsorted pain of millions of commandoes when someone sells something, it comes on console

 

Yeah, I found that one and tried it. It logs into the server under your account and you can chat fine. The problem is that you can not connect the chat to the same server as the same one you want to play on because it recognizes you as already logged in and logs you out of the first one you connected with. I would need an alternate MineCraft account so I could have one logged into the chat and one playing on the server.

I appreciate the help though! I just need one that I can use while I play on the server.

 

You can find text documents that contain the chat (and other minecraft mumbo jumbo) in the logs folder of the .minecraft folder

 

MineChat for PC works and is pretty lightweight.
